DAMN! What a great demo! That was fun to say the least. Everything explodes, reminds me of the Matrix lobby scene. The Tequila slow mo was great. Precision aim was cool and so was Stand Off!! They have some very cool ideas that they have programmed into this game. I am eagerly awaiting a scene release! I am going to go watch Replacement Killers right now!

Great demo,

The resolution can be changed via the command line. By adding the following arguments to the game's shortcut: -ResX=1360 -ResY=768 Replacing the values as appropriate

rofl... the game is hilarious!

the first stage alone contains a pretty decent amount of bad mouthing and shit from the thugs. of course this won't mean much to non cantonese speakers but hell... i thought the whole game was gonna be in english and this certainly was a good surprise.

too bad the demo ended so shortly though.. can't wait to try out the full game.

Just try other resolutions? (quoted above by shroppy)

Out of range would mean your screen can't run at the game's default resolution. That's my guess.

I would try installing a new driver. Go to guru3d.com and download the newest driver. If that doesn't work you can try going back a few. Make sure you use Driver Sweeper to remove the old Nvidia drivers first before installing the latest driver.

The game just crashes if you edit the INI file in the game directory so I see no way to configure the demo aside from the resolution commands posted earlier.

The game ran at 30 fps at all time wich I suppose it's locked to due to being mainly a console title. After changing the resolution to the monitors native (1920x1200) it ran at 20 fps so I would say it's a fairly optimized game despite being mainly for consoles and running on next generation technology even though UE3 itself is quite a robust engine. Smile
(Depending on how the developers use it ofcourse, MOH: Airborne ran just fine but Vegas was nearly impossible to run at acceptable framerates when using a high resolution.)

30fps? That is not true! Game runs with constant 60fps (vsync on), and with vsync off it runs at almost double framerate ...

Gotcha! Very Happy So i guess when u have more than 2GB the following goes on-screen before BIOS check pops-up :

Initializing...
Checking Ram...47%...89%...done
You have exactly 4096MB of RAM. Your e-penis is now exactly 12,5876 inches longer.
Done checking.
Running Windows Penis-Vista...

Isn't 4GB somewhat ineffective for a 32-bit system as it can only handle 2GB or 3GB using a Boot.ini trick?

I know 64-bit systems can run up to 128GB if using Vista Ultimate though it seems somewhat excessive even for major server systems. Very Happy
(Home was 8GB if I remember correctly and Premium was 16GB but no normal pc user will ever have that much ram installed though 8GB is probably good for the future depending on how fast hardware and software keeps improving.)

EDIT: And yes I missed the V-Sync, forced it off now but the demo is already uninstalled.
(That particular setting resets when changing drivers and I recently changed to the official 163.67 beta drivers from NVIDIA NZone.)
