I dont mean to get anybodys hopes up (especially xarph) but their is a rumour kicking around on some irc channels and some private trackers that CCCLX have got Halo 3 in hand and its on their server plus it said it is also Region free. If it is true then I would think a scene release would happen within hours if not then its probably not true.
Dont have a go I am just posting some info I have seen around.

Thats not true mate it kind of depends on when someone gets it for all we know that is true and has only just happened in which case it might not be anywhere for a little bit, release groups always release things amongst internal networks initially and then others leak them not the actual groups that is one of the perks of providing them with releases you get access to the good stuff. As point in case the CCLX release of skate had been out quite a long time prior to the release getting around the sites.
If it isnt out within a couple of hours then I would agree it is likely false info but until then lets just hope.

that rumor is old, i mean yesterday somone already said that on irc, i believe you dont really have access to some leet channels that know more right? so if they had it yesterday which they didnt it would be here by now

At the end of the day what would you rather read in a speculation thread like this, that some geek has got his hands on it and has made a load of pictures of the box or that "MAYBE" just "MAYBE" a release is on its way, I know what I would rather read.

there's surprisingly little activity here eventhough halo could be out any minute now.
if halo 3 was a pc game and hyped as much as this then there'd be at least 50 pages by now.

Trust me it aint gonna be out today, thats how i think about it so to ease my pain i am not posting anything anymore untill it hits the NG's .. and gonna play myself some halo 2.

People have the game now. Why would we be living in dreamland? There's theoretically no reason why some random can't just rip an ISO and spread it themselves. Obviously a scene release would be better, but there's a possibility it can appear at any moment one way or another.
