There is no effect with modding ini files to enable Very High Settings. It's same quality like High Settins. Very High settins are not just disabled in beta. It's REMOVED.

Partially removed from what I can see, just check the top of the files in the
"\Crysis MP Beta\Game\Config\CVarGroups" folder and you see some settings without any preference number such as [1] applied to them, compared to the values below these settings are even higher than the values under the [3] (Wich would be the high settings.) box so what I did was to cut out these settings and paste them over the previously high settings.
Then I just changed the graphics quality to low and back to high and so far everything works like it should with some small improvements in graphics at the cost of some performance.
(Not that bad but ofcourse this might differ to the real settings that will be in the retail game or perhaps even singleplayer beta, though the retail would still have DX10 to further improve gameplay and graphics, especially regarding multiplayer physics.)

Often losing textures. Gfx wise it's best game I've ever seen. Pity it's nothing new in terms of gameplay.
So who wants that beta key?
