If you are installing from the image or DVD then you just need the 15GB free that the game requires. Smile
(Unsure why Fileplanet wrote 50GB as a requirement but it's not true for the disc version.)

You can set decals, shadows and resolution ingame together with the keyboard controlls and a few minor settings can also be adjusted when playing such as sensitivty and colour profiles depending on the monitor.
(Wich the game refers to as a TV)

If it weren't for the constant crashes it would be quite a fun shooter similar to Max Payne but as it's usually the graphics that fails such as the drivers resetting to 640x480@256 I suspect that NVIDIA might need to release another beta , unsure how ATI handles the game. (Using the beta 163.69 released a few days ago, Vista actually has the same drivers but with WHQL certification so I'd say they are quite good despite what could be minor issues in one or two titles like Stranglehold.)

the old amiga FLT is a totally different group; the new FLT has no original members since the last big scene bust (speedlink)

I doubt about that you can't just use a famous group name and pre it,some cracker/s coder must have survived the bust at that time and is now up for revenge

sounds like it... i think this is the most unreasonable game ever in terms of what it IS for what it gives... 12 freakin gigs, 7 hours of gameplay, requires 50gb to install... its just insane.

They got busted during Operation Fastlink... not speedlink... Razz

I am also pretty sure that some people didn't get busted because they were smart and used proxies and the like when connecting to the raided FTP's.

Played the game now, it looks much better than the demo. This is because dynamic lightning can now be selected. Smile
Anybody here got AA to work? Forcing it doesn't do and if I rename stranglehold-retail.exe to Bioshock.exe I only get a black screen and text.
Using 163.44 beta drivers.

Just for the record I can say that no 50GB was required for me either.
All I needed was space for the images and 12.xx GB for the install.

I think we better get used to games needing this much space now. Smile

Looks like another sloppy ported console game, those are always incredibly huge in size and look like shit (like Resident Evil 4 or Metal Gear Solid 2)
