Right now, don't rush on spending your money on anything for this game, imo.

damn the game is stuttering with me at these settings.
res 1680x1050 everthing high and fsa on 16x. When i turn fsaa off the game runs normel.
system:
c2d E6600
2gig ram
geforce 8800gts
asus pw5dh deluxe
vista 64 bit

dudes, the game is not so bad...if you like sega rally arcade races!!
the controls are like sega rally 1998 and even ridge racer...
Its impossible to play with keyboard with 3rd person view.
Try to play with inside view..i am loving the game! very good aproach to arcades.
If you want sim, install Dirt!

you have 2 press a button on your wheel at first screen when says PRESS START...  |

Boy, what a CRAP!
I just tried this game out to see if this game ist atleast good!
But wtf? this is not a racing gme, its an reactiongame with no physiksystem at all.
It feels like u r steering some metalbar in a tube full of soapwater.
And about the grafix, sure they look good and the textures are sharp when u stand stil,l but if u drive, u will notice that the same textures are used every 5 feet again and again.
Also i miss some hdr and sun/shadows effects... it just looks so sterile!
Dirt is atleast 2 times better then this piece of...

sure I do
its a cool game, but, I just played the first alpine time trial and my framerate got really bad on places... 
but yea maybe the patch will fix this when the game is actually out

FOR Crying OUT LOUD!!!! Colin Dirt IS NOT SIM. Dirt is something between arcade and sim (more to the arcade side).
Play GTR2 and Richard Burns Rally ---> those are the only sim's out there that are any good.
next your going to tell me that the fucking race driver was a sim. 
This Sega Racing game is nice but it feels like it need some more work but into it. But @ least it doesn't have crap graphics like dirt had. Crap = all that fucking bloom and shit that made the picture so unclear + the trees view distance was 100% crap. (yes i played it on 8800 etc so everything was maxed). |

Wow what the hell!
First thing first, launcher works for me.
The game itself seem nice, engine is optimized and runs fast, gfx are pretty and there seem to have lot of content/maps/unlockables.
Thing is I don't have a gamepad and it's simply unplayable with a keyboard since keys are mapped to 100% of the analog stick, so a simple quick press turn the car more than 90degree. It's just impossible to finish a race without the computers cars having a lap more than you. Oh and is there a way to exit the game? Only alt+f4 seem to work.
iNVFX|be_cool I would like to know how to switch to first person view if you say it controls better, but I wonder how camera change could change anything to key bindings.
This is a straight crappy PC port just like Sega and Capcom are used to do. I wonder why do they even put money in this is they can't manage to do the thing right. There is no way someone with a right mind would pay for this! I guess they paid two-three college student at minimum salary to port this shit.
I'm waiting to see if the "patch" (with the typo and the non-working link when you install) will fix anything before I delete it, too bad I wanted to like this game!
