Well, I found my host file. It is only showing localhost 127.0.0.1 anyway. I've not installed/downloaded OF yet. Is that used so rarely that no other programm has written to mine???

Did you test that? Shouldn't that result in the same? At least my firewall (Kaspersky) allows me to allow/block every single type of communication. So outbound to Relic could be blocked while LAN ones could stay alive. It's easily done when you know the IPs.

How do you do a HOST block? And where is that host file? Please help...

Post the adresses that kaspersky blocked. You can find them in the options under firewall and then programm rulez. You have to add these in the host file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

open it and add the adresses that kaspersky blocked:

127.0.0.1 [Adres]

That sounds much easier. That should also work with real LAN should it?

After the checking of the disc, how are you supposed to access the campaign screen? Are you supposed to create a account?

You need to block both

cohlive-1.quazal.net
and
cohlive.quazal.net

It skips the whole login process.

I did this, it works, but now it wants a DVD validation. and DTPro isn't working. still shows a message about emulation being used.
