Official Xbox Magazine scores Project Gotham Racing 4 higher than Halo 3 -10/10
The latest issue of the UK's Official Xbox Magazine has just the shelves and surprisingly Project Gotham Racing 4 has been awarded a higher score than Halo 3. PGR 4 got a perfect 10 while Halo 3 scored just a 9/10.

In case of Halo 3 getting 9.5 ratings, Microsoft's involvement is obvious.
But with PGR4, the devs promised to make it more PGR2-like. If they really succeeded, 10/10 sounds reasonable to me.

i dunno PGR never was big fun in singleplayer, i'd say even more boring than forza
and i see absolutely no difference in gameplay between pgr2 and 3
4th however has bikes and few more tricks [rain], but rating game 10/10 is a bit bold
and m$ is a publisher so here it is
it's time they implement free roaming cities in any racing game so when u are bored with circling u can just take a ride, so far only TDU managed to do that

Well, TD:U and Forza may be in the same genre, but they are really pretty different from eachother.. I mean, in TDU you get alot of cash, and its like "Hey, heres a load of cash, go buy yourself two new houses and a couple of cars!". Its fun, no doubt, but buying a new car is like.. You dont really feel a huge difference (except for the classic cars ofcourse ).
Its all down to taste, so its really no point arguing. Just remember that both games targets kinda different audiences while they´re still in the same genre. I love both games for what they are, but ive put more hours into FM2..

PGR3 is like a 2 year old game, I think is was amazing considering it was a launch title and they will have had very little development time. It's probably the only game from that time that I still go back to (PDZ anyone?)
I think PGR4 will own!
McRae is a good racer, but they dropped the ball on the multiplayer which could have made it great.
TDU - what a pile of shite, yeah massive racing area (that all looks the same), and what's all that buying a house business, it should have been called sims racing
Forzbore Motorsport 2 - dull as ditchwater

TDU owns them borth, much more freedom. Gets kinda boring playing on the same maps, same laps in sim games... oh a new track, oh no.. its just the same track reversed -.-
so TDU FTW |
well if u knew anything about racing u would understand the skill is knowing the apex's and braking / acceleration areas of every corner u encounter during a lap, then u can push the car to the limit and beat the competition on & offline. the only way to do this is not to have mmo but as with real life actual defined tracks in which to do lap after lap after lap. this to u is no good but to someone who loves racing it is what racing is all about.
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

plz go back playing ur crappy FPS games and don't give comments about racers if u don't have a clue. even mentioning Test Drive in the same line as Forza 2 is ridiculous...
MSR (DC) & PGR 2 (XBOX) rocked, PGR (lame conversion of MSR) & PGR 3 (rushed launch title, 5 steps back compared to PGR 2) suck
if PGR 4 is anything like PGR 2 a 10/10 rating is more than deserved period

Wonder why Microsoft dropped Bizarre ?
Don't think its anything to do with game quality as its getting decent reviews

I think Activision were prepared to pay more for them than M$ were. From what I understand, M$ were only publishing a Bizarre creations game, whereas Activision have bought BC outright and probably won't see a return on their investment until 2009 ... I hope this won't lead to rushed development times and poor quality releases
