Welcome to the forums, I'm sure this post will be moved but until then I suggest you read the patch notes for the beta drivers. They will list the games they have gained performance in, and in my opinion I would try and keep my drivers up to date.
oh and try not to pay any attention to people who think they run shit on these boards. Why does everyone seem to think its necessary to insult someone to get a point across? It is possible to politely inform the new member about the technical boards.
