isnt there a way to play the first game while installing the add on ?
it asks for a key:( to play the first campaign

If anyone is getting the "Could not verify media" error using the FLT release try this:
rename a copy of the cracked rs.dll to rspa.dll & place it in the rspa folder.

I tried the mini image & 5 different cds/dvds in the drive, but I still kept getting that damn "Could not verify media" message Evil or Very Mad . Thankfully just renaming the dll file fixed the problem for me Very Happy

@gold24: search for the CoH keygen by Razor1911 Wink

i mounted the original iso from the first one, then entered the key and it worked

Well .. I never got any problems in MP, maybe before they released a patch that fixes MP problems, but after it, not a single problem.

Ok i think i narrowed it down to this:
If you have vista and you host, other people will not be able to join and will receive "could not connect to all players in the game"

EDIT: Nah forget it, it's just random and i'm clueless.

Any clue?
I even tried to add entries in the registry coming from COH installed on anoter computer. Tried to rename the rs.dll in rspa.dll in rspa ... Doesn't work. It can validate the media.
Don't have more ideas!

put a real cd (any type) in a physical drive with the CoH ISO mounted and try again

Strangely enought, I enjoy the brits more than the PE. And the FLT crack for 2.101 works perfectly here on my system which is a Sony subnotebook.

The FLT crack v2.101 ruins the LAN play.
Users with this crack cannot join other games.
This has been tested with many on hamahci.

I love this game, yet I suck so horribly at it! I don't know what it is. I think shooters are boring as hell, yet I excel at them (especially tactical team play shooters) - I love RTSs and the challenge they pose online - yet I'm bloody FUBAR at them.

I'm a turtler/defensive player at heart so I thought my tide would turn playing as the British. But, this is not the case.

Turtlers always have problems playing online... Sad I'm a turtler too, and I know how hard it ca be. You need lots of practice to be able to fight waves and waves of enemies. But trust me, once you master it, you have the potential to be unstoppable. When I finally leave my base in strategy games, I just like to stomp players with huge armies. It's just so much fun.
But I think CoH discourages that type of gameplay. You have to send units to capture points, you need to start attacking immediately.

It wouldn't be such a problem if there weren't so many stupid control points to keep an eye on. Razz

In that respect, Warhammer 40000 is better. I like thinking and macromanaging, but I dislike micromanaging.

I'm very surprised how well you can play defensive with the brits. Esp. the Bofor and anti tank guns hand out a punch. Just place em at strategic point to cover bottlenecks. Some ari in the back and they can rain down the pain with creeping barrage. In city battles there is no escape.

Its fun to see how people underestimate the PE. Just beat a lvl 10 and lvl 8 2v1 with PE.

You know, the standard schreck + group zeal + seargent combo. Its fucking ridiculous if you got the fuel for it Smile
