He opens a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop were she sells "the worst pies in London." usually i hate musicals, but nightmare before christmas made me realise that when they are done right (unlike the 99.7% of musicals that are pure shit), they can be freakin brilliant.
Doubt it will be as good as the one with Ray Winstone in it.

Check out South Park - The Movie. Also a very well done musical (yes, it is a musical with a lot of awesome songs, i.e. Kyle's Mom Is a Bitch).
I'll "buy" that movie most definately. From alt.binaries.hdtv
man, you gotta admit... thats one fucking cool poster though...
just watched the trailer... its beautifully shot, every frame would be worthy of printing and hanging on a wall... stylistically its amazing, tim burton has such a unique and stylish eye.
i dont know if this will be one of the best films of the year, but its totally something ill be eager to see... burton and depp have always been a brilliant combo...
So this is the Movie adaptation of Sweeney Todd musical "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" , Lets hope it will be as good as the movie adaptation of "Rocky Horror Show" ( )
see, this is the one and ONLY reason i like oscar time
hope it gets some oscars.. personally i dont put any stock in those phoney awards, but id love to see the film and those who worked on it, getting some major recognition, especially depp.

just finished watching it.. really enjoy it, once you get into it, the fact that its 87.5% singing, u dont even notice or care, its just one hell of a great film with brilliant performances all round. i didnt really like the girls singing bit, but luckily it was mostly depp and carter singing, and those 2 do such a wonderful job.... wow. 8/10
wow was kinda in shock to see Sacha Baron Cohen singing , guess now he is starting to be more of a pro actor then a goof up comic like in his roles Ali G or Borat
Wasn't a big fan honestly, and not because it was a musical, but because it was just too Tim Burton /Depp.
what?
you seen his other movies? They were aimed at kids. happy endings. decent visuals but overall stories were warm, heartwarming and happy ended. Sure dark and grim and such, but they always ended happily. Not one of his movies in the past ended sadly. THere was always something good about his endings.
This to me was a real surprise s'why i love it more than his other movies. it's just so... well... it finally suits his style Dark, Grim and fucking melancholic!
