Pre Gates of Discord Everquest. Yes, Luclin sucked hard, compared to the excellent Velious, but PoP was a blast. With Gates of Discord it all went down the drain.
Currently playing WoW, even though it has it's issues it is unsurpassed in its scripted raid content.

i just wanna say .. WOW is prob the most polished game.. ever...
It is also prob the most Accessible game ever..
(Personal opinion is that the game has a nice atmosphere.. but gameplay like dog shit)
But the only mm game i have ever really liked for any period is EVE online
(I actually DID play wow for a bit when it first came out.. and was cool for a bit.. but once u have seen everything.. the games shite)

WoW does what it does very well, but it is quite limited in what you can do. Still my favourite current MMO, but you could do more in UO and that was the first MMO released (to my knowledge)..
Wish someone could combine the two..
Looking forward to Conan atm, and possibly Warhammer..

i'll probably get flamed for it but maplestory has proved a sickening timewaster for my friends and i although lately it's been on standby.
guess the main draw came from it being accessible and fun skills and that we used to grind in lan so it didn't become boring as fast.

Currently playing WoW and well, what can I say, hooked as usual.

Someone recommend me a good isometric mmorpg. preferbly free. Was looking around and came across runescape. Any good?
