Nope. I'm running with minimal ventilation, but the few other games that I play run without problems. I'll try again with a heat probe enabled. Would the graphics card produce less heat on a lower resolution? I tried with the highest possible...

Use Vitality crack. Haterd crack is crap. Had the same problem until i got Vitality crack. Now it works great. If you allready have Vitality crack then idk whats the problem. Im sure its not heat problem. Dont listen to people who dont know what they talk about. Try to disable youre AV and update youre drivers and dx9.

100 degrees is even high for a GPU, although there isn't a hard limit you should count on 80 as max. GPU's can take alot, but you'll have serious problems if you don't take care of it. Your graphics card will also be downclocked if it heats too much, so you'll lose performance too.
Are you sure the cooler makes contact with the chip? That's usually the case, the cooling block not being able to take the heat because it isn't mounted right. Even a standard cooler should do a better job than that.

my card hit 111'C deg one day (i was too lazy to clean out all the dust n shit for a week or so)... the next day it died... so be careful
if i install the latest patch now with vit crk will it fuck anything up?... im on 1.06.973 for that dialog workaround
tried a fresh ranger... he sucked, kept dying... started with a fighter/blackguard now and hoping he will kick more ass...
anyone else find that familiar annoying?...

update to 1.10, install fix http://nwn2patch.obsidianent.com/NWN2_DialogUpdate_en.exe and use vitality 1.10 crack

i am playing the game without any problems till now , here what i have done :
1-installed nwn2
2-updated it with the autoupdater till it got all the patches
3- installed motb
4-applied the hotfix
5- applied crack by hatred
working perfect without any crash or any probs!
Note: and this game makes my vid card (x 1950 xtx 512 meg ) fans spin a lot for cooling...so u better clean your card from any dust ...i for myself always play and the AC is on and the room is cool ...my card never pass 75 c. beware of overheating ..i have 2 friends there vid cards died on them because of heating.!

Ok it seams Vitality crack doesnt work. I cant go to Chapter 3 in NWN 2. Ill try other crack.
Edit. Ok Hatred crack crashes too at loading Chapter 3. Anyone tryed mini image?

Ok its not the crack. When you fight last battle in chapter 2 you need to remove level drain from youre people. If you dont do that game will crash at loding chapter 3. Btw there is new patch and it works for me without crack or mini image. I only have Nvn 2 dvd 1 in external usb dvd drive.
