I'm probably going to drop the money and get this for the 360. Halo 3 was shit, and I've been an Unreal boy pretty much since Tournament was released.
That being said, the Demo WILL be played on my PC as soon as it's out to enjoy some sweet unreal like back in the day.

Previously, it would update every 24 hours, but now if you force an update using the Download Manager, it changes to 6 (SIX) hours.
This could mean a number of things, but one thing it does not mean is that the demo will be coming on Monday. In fact, typically when the time changes overall, then that means the demo is not far away (i.e. FilePlanet has certain knowledge of when it'll be released and/or is in the process of distributing the file already, just waiting for it to be available on all servers before allowing preloaders to preload the file... hence the shortening in auto-updating time).
So... though I am not Epic, I'd have to say that tomorrow is probably the day the demo officially comes out.

It probably only contains one map, and very limited characters and such...
You can play online multiplayer and instant action against bots on it, according to Mark Rein.

Just played a quick game it and it's pretty good. Gameplay- and graphicswise. I guess they have disabled the more advanced video settings since there is no real deep configuration possible (just resolution and 3-5 other, simple, settings). So I guess the graphics can be a lot better.
Runs real smooth though in 1680x1050. Will play some more later today.

Although I know Mark Rein said it would be online multiplayer and instant action against bots, I just gotta ask, can ya play it on LAN? I know it probably isn't so, but still, i'm gonna go to a LAN tonight, and it would rule if it was possible. Anyone can confirm if it may be possible?
