Is this game safe to play on live if you have a modded system? I mean I know you take a chance with any game, but is there anything special about this game? Im just wondering..

Havent tried TF2 yet, altough I must admit hl2 ep2 is a masterpeice hands down.

Are you asking that from a narrative or technical perspective? You must have played through HL2, so I'm assuming you mean can you start where you want. The answer is yes, you can start at the beginning of the expansion. It would be a bit annoying for all those 360 players who had already played through HL2 for the PC, to have to play it through again to get to EP2 on their 360.
Personally I think the length of the expansions is just right, the quality of gaming would suffer if they tried to stretch it out too far in the time they have to develop each one.

I just did HL2 marathon over the last 2 days, amazing. 
Still in the middle of Ep2 though. Burned through HL2 and Ep1 pretty quick. About 9 hours for HL2 and 3 for Ep1. Ah I loved it all over again.

I had a problem with my Episode 2 save game file. It would lock my Xbox each time I tried to load it until eventually the file was corrupt and I couldn't even start a new game on chapter 3 without it locking. After a couple Xbox reboots, I was able to start a new game from Chapter 2 and my textures were totally white and messed up. I have video from my digital camera of it.
Anyway, I'm having to start over after deleting ALL my Orange Box save files from the Xbox memory menu. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Wow. After going through all that and clearing my save files and starting over, I made it to Chapter 2 and now my textures are all white and screwed up again. What a fucking joke. I bought the PC version but it doesn't run very well at the resolution I want to run it in. :/

u should've dLd pc version for testing and bought console version, coz loox like it's either your box that dying or disk got scratched or burned badly
