Have any of you guys tried Puzzle Quest yet? I bought it through Gamers Gate for $19.99 (US).
REALLY good puzzle game... combination of an RPG, bejeweled, and Magic The Gathering.
Addictive as all hell. you can build up your character through single player and then play multi player with him/her.
You can have companions, magic items/armor/trinkets, build citadels, forge weapons, complete quests. Check it out.

Soon as I read the gaemspot review of it, I knew it was something I would like. Although, I don't think the Gamespot review was of the PC version. I got a notice about it in my Gamer's Gate newsletter and did a little research on it.
I have already spent quite a few hours on it. I have a 16th level druid. Really want to try the other classes as well... and I just found it that you can eventually capture creatures and learn their spells... pretty deep game for a puzzle game.

YES it is, and i had to get it in the beginning of my exam week ! and now i only think about this shit. They should make a game like this with a bigger budget just to give it a better presentation and storyline. thattt would be so nice

This is freaking crazy... I honestly think this is the most attention i have paid to a game in a VERY VERY long time.

hmm... let see, I have pretty much any game you could name... and I just keep coming back to this game. i can;t seem to get enough of it. makes my head hurt after a few hours though. :-/

I agree with big_gun, also I haven't really paid much attention to any game lately. And I played pretty much all of the mainstream ones, and this one is just soooo addictive. I guess because I was never really into the puzzle games genre.

Theres just so much to do in this game...

i just got my first mount and you can even level him up once you own a citadel and build a stable. Course... like everything else, leveling him up involves playing a different version of the same puzzle game.

Apparently, you can even capture towns.

Just a great cncept of a game. Whoever came up with the idea of this, deserves their money. I wish more mainstream games were this "innovative". I dunno if innovative is the right term... maybe "this fun" is closer.

Hell... this makes me want to take a look at puzzle pirates now...

Have any of you tried multiplayer yet in puzzle quest?

Been playing this one on my PSP since March. Smile

Great game. It's really interesting how it's tied in to the Warlords series.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

you need the ip of someone to connect to them so thats a bit crap, maybe gayspy arcade or something suports it though.

im getting really bored of having to fight the monsters that are on the roads sometimes now blocking your path Mad , some quests you need to go nearly all the way across the whole map fighting 3-4 stupid road blocking monsters and it just gets annoying!

I was reading some of the rumors at a pub and one of them said this.

Mounts.
The people of the trarg tell you that a mount moves you faster, and that a well-trained
mount can help avoid many encounters. To get a mount you should first build a dungeon
in your citadel.

Hope this helps Smile
