Fixed it, apparently you cant play online unless the key you installed the game with is the same one you activated it. Reinstalled used the same key for both, it works now!
i dont think so. i downloaded the wrong demo to begin with and no servers would let me on, so i had to get the latest beta mp demo, and then everything worked sweet.
Yeah you're right I confused the demo release date with the games release date.
(Remembered it now since there was a big discussion about it on various fansites as the demo was delayed only days before it was supposed to be released.)
Being running the beta for some days
My 7900 gs can run it well on mediun (1280 x 1024) no AA ( goes black with AA).
From what i see SP will probably be the best of crysis, it might be worth "skiping" Crysis until i get a new card/ first patches/ updated drivers. This game must be played on high settings.
Gameplay wise, MP failed to impress me so far, big traveling times and fast duels (if you aren´´t wasted from the distance by a superior equiped player. Anyway still early to form a veredict.
im enjoying it... big travelling times? thats what vehicles are for im loving the mp to be honest, graphics continue to impress me... just today i recorded a vid of myself sniping some people () and while i was scanning through it, this frame caught my eye... really is such a visually stunning game... the texturing, the design... really is nice, cant wait till the full version with dx10 and multiple core support enabled not saying this is the greatest pic ever or anything, it was just really striking when i was glancing through the vid.

that picture really does look just awesome for some reason.
and yeah, traveling times in multiplayer are not high at all.
I spawn, buy a weapon, and 5 seconds after spawning I'm in a vehicle (which are conveniently placed next to all spawn points) and 5-20 seconds later I'm at some point that's controlled by the enemy and can start fighting. And if you properly use cover and the suit you can get some pretty long and exciting duels.
Like... you can switch to strength really fast and jump over a barricade and stuff like that, cutting off the line of sight.
im running everything on high with 2x aa, and 1280x800 res... i get like 30 + - 4 fps outside, and 50ish inside buildings.
when the full thing gets released, i figure dx10 will run better than dx9, and also full support for multiple cores will be enabled giving me even more fps.
i have a quad core cpu, 2 gb ram, 8800gtx.

vid that the screen was capped from - i get only 4 guys, and i miss way more than i should have because recording while playing was fucking up my fps and making it kinda jerky... also theres an annoying audio glitch but meh, whatever

If my game looked like that i would enjoy better the traveling. That and if someone could silence the "Korean" guy!!i can´t play Korean anymore.

Anyway don´t get me wrong e like watt i see..i was just expecting more, its Crysis , after Farcry the bar is set very high.

yeah about the nuke in the vid... i was actually trying to capture a nuke going off for a while, but always never happened when i was near enough, or it wasnt an impressive nuke (theres some REALLY visually nice nukes, and then theres some lower quality ones like the one in the vid - but still, it was great to actually capture on during a sequence... kinda gives the vid an all-round- feel... bit of everything ill try post some images later today of the full res im playing at.
how badassed is this game going to be in retail when you can have day/night cycles in multiplayer games!

If you move forward a bit you fall on a small edge on the mountain side. Nobody can see you there, and you can get back jumping on strengh mode.
The landscape is very well crafeted, you need a top-end GPU to play this one!
just had another sweet round... i love picking up other peoples fully customised scar's... sweet weapons when theyre all kitted out with silencer and scope
took a few screens at 1280x800... not really that great, mailnly because i was too busy shooting shit most of the time
