Just as there is no spoon, there is no huge database.
They removed it in 2007 to avoid problems with regens in later years.
Why they didn't fix it/find a workaround yet, don't know.

but in fm2007 you could activate huge database editing a file, however the directory that contain this file not exist anymore...

Yeah both FIFA and CM have 3D engines. CM has some uber-cool statistical analysis (I forget the licensed name, but it's an actual tool real teams use) still the same poor imitation under the hood.

Just saw on their forums that one of the developers confirmed they have incorporated piracy triggers in the game that cause all kinds of shit to happen. Like, bottom table teams qualify in Euro competitions instead of group leaders...I wonder if either Hatred or FLT found them all.

Well, i don't want my game to be ruined by lousy crack. I'm still using original image with YASU, and it works fine, no bugs.

If you read the thread it looks like they are claiming this is to do with piracy protection but it's also listed as a bug. I'd be interested in testing this just to see whether it's true or not. |

lol SI games acts just like one company before  they also claimed some bugs to be new antypiracy protection ... finally it depend on bad securom check which affected also legit players - they removed it in 4th or 5th patch

Started a new game with the cracked version. anyone tried the hatred version? im assuming the clonedcd version doesnt have this problem. |
The cloned version has no problems, but seems the FLT release has an obvious problem if you're to believed (sorry, but 2 posts ) I've been told by a good friend that Hatreds release works just fine (none of this silly qualifying nonsense) |

The problem with using the clone is that legitimate customers are screwed over by the protection scheme (won't load the game) so the obvious thing is to download a crack. Some people use cracks for convenience as well. I personally buy FM (and CM before it) so knowing which crack to use is important.
You're right that the clone is the way to go if you're just going to pirate it however - definitely no problems there. Funny how that works
