Could someone here PM me the url to the beta forum, and the password to enter it, I got my beta key on an old account, linked to an email I can't use anymore, so I never got the beta forum info when I got my beta key.
I have some stuff I want to report, if it's not already done but need the link and password.

Used to be Yondaime but forgot pass and what email I used on it. Doh. I had ~1200 posts or something, been around since NForce started or so, so i'm no new guy.

I can understand delaying the game, but a demo? Wtf, i think they just dont want people to see how poorly it runs on their comps. Those minimum specs they posted were laughable, its enough to start the game but not to play it.

the minimum specs they released are actually more than you need to play it.
as I said before, it runs fine on my 2 year old laptop with a 1.8ghz turion 64 and a mobility radeon x700 with 128mb.

lol? with an 3800+ and x800xt i got like 10 fps in lowquality??? how the hell did it run fine on your laptop maybe 2fps is fine for you? |
perhaps he hasnt ten gigabyte of ad-, spy and bloatware running on his system?
or without the sarcasm: I have seen systems with pretty comparable hardware perform hugely different, depending on the configuration of the system. And what some people deem playable also differs alot from other players. If the story is good and the gfx look great i for example dont mind if the gameplay feels a liittle sluggish and goes down to 25-30fps from time to time. In mp that is fucked up though. So dont assume that because your system runs the beta like "teh sh!tz0r", it must be the same for everybody else... |

yeah. I played it on my laptop at 800x600 with everything on low at first and it ran totally fluid, so I switched textures to medium and resolution up to 1024x768 and it still ran great. it can't handle any post processing or higher resolutions though, that really brings it down. but even with everything on low and medium textures and 1024x768 or 800x600 it looks really good.
sure, it can look so much better, but it's not bad with low settings, and the important thing is that it runs well. I don't exactly need awesome graphics when playing on my laptop.

Running great varies from person to person, there was some guy on the epic forums that was saying his geforce 8400 was running the ut3 demo "great" for him, when he took a pic it was running at a mere 14fps.
My x1900xtx can play crysis at around 30fps avg, great? No, playable? Sure.

no, i just feel kinda hyped out.. even bored of seeing the game. Its been hyped, talked about and covered/revealed so long, i know the storyline and half of the content before the game is even out.
Its totally ruined the anticipation for the game =/
And TF2 being TOTALLY FUCKING SUPERAWESOME online i got bored of the beta fast

well i guess its a good thing i dont read too much info about storylines or watch too many gameplay vids.
and yeah i wish i had tf2... i was hardcore original tf, back when it was a quake game... best multiplayer game EVER dammit... but im not buying that orange box rubbish just for one good game, and as it is tf2 is ludicrously overpriced on its own... maybe in a year or so, after the price goes down, kinks have been worked out, and all the little immature shitbag kiddies have moved on to something else at the moment, i think all those shitbag kiddies are currently playing the crysis beta...sigh...
all these games with amazing graphics, interesting gameplay modes, multiple classes, amazing weapons etc... i just wish for once a developer would create a game with an anti-shithead protection system...
