ya... I guess the combat could be much more realistic and harder on another difficulty setting.
the escape sequences lately also seemed too easy as syke247 said.
Those guards should set up barricades and block the streets at certain spots where you then can't just run through or they'll kill you.
That guy in the latest video runs in a circle like 3 times... it almost looks like you could just keep running forever and the guards have no chance to ever catch you as long as you keep running.
but again, it's just a beta demonstration. gotta wait for the real deal to see how it's actually gonna be on a harder difficulty.
even with all those weird things I'm still looking forward to the game. the fact that you can climb on anything is awesome and that's one thing where they seem to totally deliver on the promise.

Video interview, mentions some interesting details about the game.
(Such as capturing flags and killing templars.)

We learn about the NPCs, collectibles, sidequests, and different AIs that are packed into this much anticipated title.
Sounds promising and most videos look quite good, could be a fun game when it's released and it will be interesting to see how the X360/PS3 versions are recieved as those will be released earlier.
It's the same video from before, but this time with commentary. And they say that the throwing knifes are very rare, so I don't think they will make things too easy.
Maybe the compass goes away on a higher difficulty level or you can simply turn it off...

Part of the fun in Hitman was locating your target. Although the environments are massive in this so some sort of navigation tool is probably necessary.
I've read you can only carry five throwing knives at a time, but you can resupply at a safe house.

I'm mostly worried about the controlls.. i'm not too found of "auto jump" etc, anything "auto" is kinda bad :/ didn't like it in the newer zelda games.. It'll make more sense with a console / analog gamepad i think, it'll be more smooth than using a keyboard/mouse probably... e.g you can walk/sneak slow by pushing the controller just a little and run by pushing it further (im guessing this will make you auto jump as well)... we'll see.. hope they dont fuck up the controlls on PC too bad.
Well, it'll be a fun game until the last couple of hours where you'll be in the future fighting corporations. If that comic is to be believed. I'd rather they just stick to the Crusades.

assassin's creed doesn't have any future gameplay as far as I know.
assassin's creed is the first game of a trilogy, and future games will most likely have a setting in the future, but not this one.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but...
Spoiler:
...look The whole game to be set in the present with some sort of Time Travel/VR stuff. This would esplain why the screen flashes white so often. Maybe you understand it after reading the comic, I didn't because I was afraid of spoilers.
