Just try it, the worst it can do is lockup your system and reboot. If you have enough HDD space, mounting is the way to go.

I hate the loading time of the levels, it takes so long, but at least when it loads it runs very smooth. This is the only annoying thing in the game which I encountered so far...
Oh and can someone tell me how to light the "Eternal fire shrines" (its one of the quests in the game).

Works great, installed in Vista 32 on my RAID disks.. I've played for like 40 mins, it seems ok so far. I would've prefered same controls and combat as in Gothic or Oblivion, i find it so much more immersive... A very n00b friendly game, and i guess that's what they're going for.I
I've started watching the Witcher tv-series, its quite ok, gives a bit of background info on the main character (it starts with his childhood and how he becomes a Witcher)..

if u want this one to work u have to do this:
1.Install DT Pro ADvanced
2.Install the game
3.Go to the taskbar icon and press Open Daemon Tools Pro
4.In the window that will pop-up search for "Add IDE Virtual Drive" in Tools
5.enable IDE VD mount the mds
6.Play the game
PS: the patch for the latest version of DTPRO is not a trojan !

Ahh, well Platin nfo is incorrect about protection being SolidShield, its not. As someone mentioned earlier the game uses TAGES protection(according to Witcher forums).
But, I still don't see this to be much trouble, as latest game to use TAGES was Gothic 3 and it was cracked pretty much right away.

i do everything you writed but when im trying to run the game i just have something like
"put orginal DVD of Witcher to your drive"

American version has striped fatalities and nudity.
European multi5 has striped nudity.

Make sure you mount the MDS, not the MDF  .
Also, make sure you're mounting via IDE as well, not SCSI. In fact, do what I did, disable the SCSI driver for it.
I'm unraring, I'll see if I can get it to work in a minute here..
edit; I can deal without the nudity, I just wanted the artistic level of combat/gore. Nudity, while it may have been tasteful, was not my #1 draw into this game. While bewbs are great, these are still just pixels.

so basically no version tahts in english is completely uncut? will there be a way to move files from the russki version to the euro version to get a pure uncut release?
and no im not going to get pissed if i cant see tits in the game, im just one of those who dont like being told whats acceptable for me to view or not to view, thats the only reason im interested in a fully uncut release.

i downloaded the game and daemon tools advanced pro but i cant get it to work i mean when i patch daemon tools and try to run the program,it gives me an error message:The application is corrupt.

Depends how moddable the game is or not. I don't think anyone is going to want to reverse engineer just for bewbs. Consider learning russian? *grins*

you CLEARLY underestimate the internets sweaty geek community... they can find tits in oblivion, hardcore porn in gta, then dammit, they'll uh... squeeze the tits outa this one
