It can't be shittier than Diablo. Here at least you have to get the rythm right, as opposed to just random clicking.
As far as dialogs (quality of presentation & animation) go, from what i have seen, it's no Mass Effect but what other game is? NWN2 is no better.

I don't care about this, I want depth, barnching dialogues, ability to make choices. Graphics can be shit for me, gameplay can't.

That's very important to me as well but i wouldn't go as far as to say graphics are meaningless. Good audio/visuals can... how to say it in english... deepen the experience greatly, make it more emotional resonant. It's like watching a B-movie with crappy actors and script/dialog, no matter the underlying story, which could be even good, at the end of the day the movie will get a D grade at best.

Newest Daemon Tools don't work for me. Used the patched version and it still asks for an activation AFTER the patch. Anyone had the same problem?

How do you know Mass Effect will have great dialogue?
The combat is a bit weird at first, but it requires getting used to.

Basically i said great LOOKING dialog. How do i know? I watched previews. Never said anything about the words spoken but knowing Bioware it at least won't suck.

Good question. Sure visuals are great, but the dialogue of Mass Effect I saw allowed to make choice between yes and no (remember Fallout and Fallout 2 had sometimes more than five options which affected the quests and great branching dialogues).

I'm sure that would you be able to choose between two games, both the same, just one with amateurish production design and the other a so called AAA big budget title, you would choose the latter.
And with graphics i don't neccessarily mean the latest gimmicks and shaders but rather things like art design (which is good in The Witcher). Plus there are other aspects like direction, animation, voiceover, music etc that all contribute.

Ok Cacaro, improved impressions.
Combat system: At first it really puzzles one, but as someone said, you've got to find the rythm, then it becomes quite easy. One thing to be careful with is YOU ONLY NEED TO SINGLE CLICK when attacking an opponent - Geralt will approach him and hit him. If you keep clicking in the style of Diablo you'll mess everything. Single click first - followed by timed clicks afterwards.
Camera: The sensitivity has to be adjusted, the default 5 is ridiculously slow. I find 9/10 works a lot better. ( using the high isometric camera ). It sometimes troubles me though especially when going around corners.
Story-Talents: I was baffled at first with some upgrades I couldn't perform. When you point to some icons in the upgrades it says "story based talent" which means, you learn it from an in-game character, you cannot use it by simply applying skillpoints there.
Important : If you don't want to hold down alt all the time in order to find objects in the room, simply turn the object label ON from the options menu. It's very helpful finding some hidden boxes.
Choices: They seem to affect what's going on, so I guess the replay value should be ok. More on that as I progress.

so you can't run the clone release unless you have DTPro with IDE, which is not available in Vista it seems. So you can't run it in Vista?
Or do I have an old version of DTPro that doesn't support virtual ide drives at all?

Do you have the 4.10.0218 release from L33VaNcL33F?
It's marked as "Vista Compatible" anyway, so it should work. And yes, it seems you need the IDE adapter to make the mounted ISO work.

thank you, you were right.
I had build 215 and it didn't have vIDE. Build 218 on the other hand has it.

I hope the upcoming patch won't blacklist anything. Patching in RPG's is essential.

I guess so. It seems the soldiers are walking toward a castle, so where would the attacker be?
