I had only one crash in 4 hours. One of the best polished RPG's I've played in a long time. The camera is bit annoying and the constant loading is killing me, but apart from that everything is silky smooth.
I just hope the patch won't require a restart or something.

The shoulder camera is really good when you get used to it, first i played with isometric then switched and now the camera is better than most RPGs

Does anyone run this game on something comparable to P4 2.8Ghz, 1GB ram and a 6800GS?? My step-son has this pc and I was wondering if this game would run all right on his rig.
TIA!

Got a question regarding the encounter with the beast.
Spoiler: | Got a problem at the section when you encounter the beast. If I let the witch live, she joins me but she dies pretty fast and I have no chance to kill the beast with all his small helpers. If I instead let the pose burn the witch and with their help it pretty easy to kill the beast. So I'm I forced to let her get killed by the pose or did anyone of you succeed in her helping you? |

hmm strange
Spoiler: | For me two small beast starts to attack her and she's dead in 2-3 sec. I have no chanche to get all of the wolfes attention on me. Tried it 5-6 times and the same things happens all over. She heals me even if I have only been taking a small amount of hits. The only thing I can think of is 'god damnit heal yourself, I'm fine.' |

I run it on P4 3.2, 2GB, 7600GT. It was unplayable at native res, but when I lowered to 1280x800 and shadows to medium it runs pretty well with some occasional slow downs. All the other settings at max.

The constant loading is the only really annoying thing about this game. Other than that its great.
BTW can you take anything you want from peoples homes or will they say you are stealing and attack you?

Where the hell is Spykez when you need him, this man needs a bitch slapping, stat!
I would never buy a console, but you have to be a moron to not admit that gamepads do have their place in PC gaming. (Definaitly not in shooters, but driving games for instance, work better with a wheel or x360 pad than they do with say, your arrow keys).

In normal RPGs they should react, at least if they see you.
In Final Fantasies and friends, they just don't care if people mess around with their things.

Map right apad for mouse with around 50 for axes. Left pad for movement keys, then just map rest for mouse buttons, keyboard shortcuts and whatever you want and your done.

Is installing the patch risky or safe? Does it add/fix protection?
The post above has been written by a RPG elitist

The clone works fine with the patch. I wonder which fixes require a restart, I don't want to do a restart.
