After reading that thread about dual boot, I wanted to try VirtualBox that Lutzifer suggested (thnx btw), and it works fine...BUT
When I want to install Ubuntu 7.10, it just stops at 82%.
I tried several times, but it stops at 82%!! Can anybody tell me what is wrong? Am I doing sth wrong? It doesn't seems so hard...

@ Nakitu: I found it at ubuntu site, and the download location was some Croatian Faculty of civil engineering, I think FER or sth alike... and don't ask about the translation, I used it just for installation purposes, every help file is in English, and my ubuntu that is installed on physical disk is on English...
@zone: I've installed it (tried to) for 3 times, it always stops @ 82%... and I've tried vmware, but from what I've figured, it's nothing alike VirtualBox...

With VirtualBox I've created virtual partition(10GB), and in VirtualBox mounted Ubuntu image. As you have seen it has successfully loaded, and it is the same when you're installing ubuntu via CD, press install and it should install normally. But for me (I don't know the reason) the installation stops at 82%! I want to install it from VirtualBox so I don have to restart all the time to boot ubuntu. If I have it like this I can just go to ubuntu when I want, and go to windows if I need. I need ubuntu for programming, and I want to learn how to work in linux...

I have vmware, and I have ubuntu 7.04 for vmware, and I've tried it but (maybe it just for me?) it starts ubuntu and it's already installed (I don't have any privileges, it asks me for admin passwd and I haven't installed anything?! )... so I've given up on it...

Ok so you install Vmware workstation. Then you select New virtual machine. Then next, then typical, then you select Linux then you find Ubuntu, then you next till you see new window. Then on youre right you will see tab with Devices. Double click on CD and select use ISO image and point to ISO image. Then you choose start virtual machine.

And that's all, it should install, not already installed or whatever?
