they picked a shitty time to release it, theres a lot coming out around then and it doesn't have that much to grab peoples attention over the other games

I'll prolly be pickin this up come release day as well. Might as well since my budget is basically food+gas+Gaming till january or so. And I think its got just as much as the other AAA fps games coming out this season.

Just went thru the demo again and there are puzzles using time - it resemles the hl's ones very much but really EXTREMELY original. I hope there will be such puzzles all thru the game. It will definitely be a know-how and i hope it will give a push to others to use diffr features of slo-mo in in such a kind of originality....
ps - Stranglehold is the example how people can not invent anything new...they should learn from the subject game.

Exactly. The fact that you have to be (at least a bit) clever and use the time stopping/reverse/ect to progress is nice and refreshing in a fps. Sure, there are dozens of games using (and over-using) the slow-mo, 'bullet time,' freeze time, ect. But actually using it for other things than flashy effects like Strangehold did about to death is a nice twist on an old concept.

Well damnit, it's hurting my lacking budget lol. Quake Wars, Possibly hellgate london...might as well since I got a free pre order code, escape from paradise city and the wticher....thats like....over 200 bucks lol, add one more game in that then I'll have enough for the 8800GT

Well, I had a lot of fun with Quake Wars and Hellgate I'm waiting to see how things go and how they treat their customers with patches etc first.

It has become like ATI with the drivers. They release [multiple] new drivers for each game or demo [or beta] that comes out. I miss the old days, where I'd be with the same drivers for months without the need for new ones...

*Rubs hands together with glee*
Can't wait for this sucker!!
-Fully interactive ragdolls after death (something sorely lacking in Crysis)
-De-limbing (again lacking in Crysis)
-Awesome performance (again)
-Stunning rain effects
-Badass futuristic and post-apocolyptic feel.
Patiently waiting....
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Yeah, totally right. The game now looks and plays nothing like the crappy demo released in January of 2006.
