ya, I was ignoring this but it's down right shady now that I think about it. I wouldn't care so much if non payers got a storage AT LEAST but the game does NOT have that much going on for it that its worth 10 bucks a month. I mean hell, Guild Wars would be worth it but no, that's ALL free. I dun care if FSS is a new studio or not, that's robbery.

Hell even DII was the exact way this game is and they didn't charge per month, they would have sold more copies of the game with their fans knowing they can play online for free instead of this monthly shit, cause quite frankly, SP is NOT going to sell this game.

Granted I liked the online experience so I'll buy the game but to hell with FSS and their 10 a month scam

It's in shops tomorrow so I can't be arsed with this German clone crap. I certainly hope it will last a few months as I'm really just in standby-mode waiting for Age of Conan to be released.

All the non-multiplayer games only last for a week - at tops - before I grow tired of them. I don't give a rats ass about the 10 bucks a month if only the game last a while before I stop playing it. Besides, if the devs doesn't give frequent free updates to justify the 10-bucks-a-month people will stop playing - and paying - the game before you can say "Tony Blair has funny ears".

But why DT 4.06, dont you need latest DT to emulate securom? or is it use older securom?

Bug in the new SecuROM version I think, it blacklists 4.10/4.09 but 4.06 still works if you use it together with Yasu. Smile

Omg so you now need 3 deamon tools (new, old and pro). Doesn't it work with the pro version?

The guy who works on Yasu just came back and has started to work on the new version, should help sort this mess out albeit it's unknown when it will be released. Smile
(Daemon Tools forums, Yasu section.)

EDIT: Doesn't work with Pro either, even the IDE thing is detected.
(Probably some new way to blacklist, happens every few SecuROM versions it seems.)

I don't understand why the DT developers rely on syko to update YASU and fix the blacklists all this time. Why don't they integrate some plugin in DT Pro and update it as necessary ? I'm sure the main programmers know more about Securom blacklisting than anyone ...

You could try to redownload the demo (It's 1GB large however.) and opening the archive with WinRar or similar to extract the EXE without installing it. Smile
(That's how I did it actually, downloaded the zipped demo, extracted it and opened the exe with Winrar to extract the game executable.)

EDIT: It appears that the changes listed in the above patch only affects multiplayer, rather bad since there's alot of important fixes.

EDIT: My own copy just arrived in the mail, good timing. Very Happy

Is the Avenged release censored as well? I didn't get the german version because people said it was censored. I want to have blood at least.
