Runs slow on my old P4 3.2, 2GB, 7600GT. Ofcourse I can lower settings but then it looks like NFS3. I didn't expect it to run perfect maxed out, but honestly I expected for it to work a little better. The only other racing game that runs this bad on my comp is DiRT.

It did that shit for me with my 7600GT. After restarting the demo things worked properly, I put most of the settings to High and turned Car effects to Low and Global Lighting off.

The game runs like a pile of crap for me. My specs are:
AMD x2 4600+
8800 GTS 320MB
2048 MB RAM
The video options are all maxed out, except of aa and af (which are both turned off(!)). The game itself looks like shit compared to the videos published in the last few months. It's definitively a big disappointment.

Just tried the demo and it's not crap, its even worse then that. How on earth can EA release something like this.

Framerate is not an issue if I fiddle with the settings, however I haven't been able to get rid of the annoying stuttering that's bugging me.
The framerate is always between 30-40 FPS, however every 1 or 2 seconds the game will stutter, and sometimes it's just enough to make the whole thing uncontrollable.
Good thing I'm upgrading this Monday.

OnBoard, I see nothing wrong with your screenshots, they look really nice despite everyone's whining. Did you get the game to run smooth with the settings like that and your specs? What kind of framerate are you getting?
EDIT: Anybody else has that weird stuttering every 1 or 2 seconds?
EDIT 2: I just noticed the FRAPS overlay on the top-right corner, thanks Glottis.

Check top right corner of his screens.

Leftos: not fraps counter, but ATI Tray Tools one  It ran ok, not as smooth as I like, you see those couple red FPS counters. Have to take some other setting down a notch.
Dzhedaj: try with manual gears, seemed challenging then, at least I got tail out
matisto21: what controller are you on? Have raced grip race only twice with king and no stupid driving lines to help, but only game second. I consider my self quite a good driver, but this is on keyboard and it's a bit fiddly with that sensitivity.
Have to go and try again, I must be doing something wrong, but for me the difficulty is just fine. Oh and I'm not pushing other drivers of the road and try to stay of the nitro button even. No stutter here or framedrops or anything weird.
edit: 2:29.11 was what I got, yes you can win even without nitro once you got familiar with the track, but still wouldn't call it easy, or I'm jus rusty Anyways seems like they've finally dumbed the rubberband thingy (or tuned down alot), if you drive good they are way behind and if you drive bad they are way in front.

game is shit, having said that, it looks just as good as the 360 version if u max everything out and runs a dam sight better than the 360 version too, the 360 cant even keep a steady 30fps most of the time whereas the pc version never dropped below 35fps for me averaging around 45fps.

Offcourse its easy when you play with keyboard & gear change on automatic but that's history
Play with wheel & manual clutch, it's more fun and not that easy
