if you are playing these kinda games on easy and you are not a complete noob you are pretty much ruining the experience... the tension/excitement is greatly diminished

Nah, $50 can go as much as $56 at most. Comparing that with other retailer online shiping to cyprus and it's a win situation. Nothing beats steam prices for me except some games, like bioshock. Even titan quest was cheaper at $30 with the expansion.

Well it's officially out now in the US (or somewhere else?)! What kind of protection does it have?

Anyone that posts anything about its release will be banned. I'm tired of deleting posts of fake or otherwise. Keep it to game talk and only post an official scene release.

I've compared Steam numerous times to e.g Play.com and Play has always been cheaper (they dont charge for shipping). Steam is far too expensive and is only a good solution if you want a game in like an hour instead of waiting a few days.

when i got the orange box from steam it used a loaded content server from NL, while i have a content server in my country, so the download isnt as nice as one would think -.-
i'd be interested in getting this game from steam if it wasnt 3 days late when it would be in stores here, also i dont like the idea how the multi would run via steam (i'm all for mp)

Haha, yeah right. Ever downloaded a game with Steam? It takes AGES. It might be faster than getting it shipped, but it's still faster to download a scene release. I can't even go to the city and drive back in that time...

No it doesnt, i've bought 2 games from Steam they both took about an hour to dowload so i've been more than happy with the speed. I guess it depends on where you live etc. But the price is still not really worth it, i only bought these 2 games because i was bored out of my mind and didnt want to wait several days for them.
I just compared BioShock Steam and BioShock from Play and its about 20-25% more expensive to buy from Steam for me which is retarded since i dont even get a box etc.

Im about 2 hours in to this, fucking sick game, best single player fps ever imho, i dont care if it only lasts 5 hours, it even excels cod1 so far.I just beat a level like that video where the helicopter mounted camera kills those arbas with like a 120 calibre weapon lol

like above, the level literally looks like a real helicopter camera, its unreal, you get to blow away loads of soldiers using massive calibre weapons, simply amazingso far.You feel like you are in a movie.Seems funny to me they picked maybe the worst level in the game so far for the demo (tho its still a great level).
Please stay on topic. TALK ONLY ABOUT THE GAME, do not ask if "its out already", "where's the release", "when is it coming", or any other crap. No torrent talk either. Unless you want a nice ban...
Now tell me what protection does it have? I mean it's official rls today! But still no "clone" yet? Seems suspecious.....like Bioshock that didn't come out in time (about 1-2weeks after rls is maximum)!
