I love it. It's from my childhood or smthg like that.

yeah i know i know those sweet memories of past emotions, i'm not saying it's a bad film, it's only that in 2007, with our senses used to cgi special effects hd and all this stuff, for me it's everyday harder to appreciate "old" movies like the years they came out ... when was the last time you saw it ???

It's just like taking an incredible but old videogame ... i tried a couple of years ago my first rpg love, The Bard's Tale, man i didn't succeeded in playing it for over that half an hour ! I loved it like a madman but now ... it remains like a fantastic emotion of the past, but today i won't play it anymore Sad

*****

Mindstorm : 5/10

Beowulf & Grendel : 6,5/10 ... very good photography and very nice landscapes !

bourne 3: when you guys are right, your right - it actually was much better than i was expecting.. i still say the first one was better... man... that had one of the best vehicle chases in modern cinema... but b3 was very enjoyable. way too much camera shake on the action as everyone else is saying - good amount of action, interesting, some nice fight choreography... if i give b1 an 8, and that shitfest b2 a 5, i give b3 a 7.3

bloodrayne 2 -weeeeeeeeeeeeeee i mean ill admit i expected it to be poor, but no way did i expect to come out of watching this, thinking the original bloodrayne was better... 3.5/10, and thats purely for the preacher guy because he was so over the top and cheesy, and actually did a half way decent job of acting for the most part, that he made the later bits somewhat watchable. also the chick that replaced loken looked decent... rubbish actress though.

I agree with you chiv, bourne identity is the better of 3 films. because i think it feels complete with car scenes, fight scenes, drama and character exploration. b2 is nice too, especially with the fight between bourne and his archnemesis kirill. kirill I think is the best agent in whole 3 movies, and bourne was very close to death. b3 is lots of action, but i cant see more than that.
so for me all 3 movies are very close with each time somthing different emphasized.
b1: 9/10
b2: 8/10
b3: 8/10

Red Dawn - 5/10 Awesome Very Happy

Uncomplicated, pure 80s action movie with no time wasted on developing plot or characters. Just big explosions, RPGs and tanks though I did miss the grenade launching M16 which was a hallmark of action flicks of the time. They made it up with the Mi-24s. Cool

detective stone : 6,5/10 ... old nice movie
ratatouille : 8/10 ... well the boys @ pixar surely know how to make a good animation movie ! i found a bit boring only a couple of scene, the majority of the film is really very nice, very very funny, and perfectly animated !

just a bit of info, we all know theres a fuckin bitchin looking film, wall-e coming out from pixar next year, by the guy who directed nemo, but some info you wont find on imdb (unless you use imdbpro), the guy who directed monsters inc (which id rank in the top 3 pixar films, because it was such a great film) is directing his next pixar film as well, called 'up', for a potential 2009 release

"coming-of-old-age story" about a seventy-something guy who lives in a house that "looks like your grandparents' house smelled." He befriends a clueless young Wilderness Ranger and gets into lots of altercations. Says Pixar: "Our hero travels the globe, fights beasts and villains and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon."

to me, personally, sounds boring... but pff... 'a rat who likes to cook becomes a chef' probably wouldnt have sounded much of a winner 2 years ago, and look how it turned out... pixar know their stuff, so im definately looking forward too it!!

oh, and toy story 3 2010 i think... i hope pixar isnt getting too far ahead of themselves by trying to have more frequent movie releases... i know that each film has a different team and they all work in tandem, so each film is obviously getting a few years, but yeah... just hope disney isnt corrupting them and getting them to start release crap.. Lasseter has a good head on him, so im sure he wont let that happen though... that guy is a fricken visionary...

oh, and ANOTHER thing... ratatouille bluray release on the 6th... hopefully we'll be seeing an HD release soon, unless disney is being an utter bastard and the release comes with new protection Sad

Eraser : 5/10 ... old an pretty average action movie.
resident evil exctinction : 5,5/10 ... with all the bad opinions read in the past i didn't expect a good film, and in fact it wasn't a good film, but it wasn't even an horrible one.

Little Miss Sunshine - 6/10

*there be spoilers ahead*

I heard so many positive comments on this one, about i being really good and so on. Its even in the top 250 on imdb.

But i guess i didnt really get it then. To me, it started out pretty good, the intro was really promising, with the fitting music and scenes, with the introduction of Carrel´s character and the family.. Then, it all went downhill from there, basically.

What bothers me most is the whole "your life can be turned upside-down within a minute"-thing.

Grandpa dies. Dad looses his job (or his deal, or whatever). Boy gets his dream crushed. The brother meets the one he loves, PLUS his new boyfriend in the middle of fucking nowhere. You get the idea. (and then it all ends with "And now our dysfunctional family is together and happy")

It all feels so forced, and when it happens you feel like you expected it.

And the whole deal with taking/stealing grandpa´s body with you in the car.. Okay, might be funny, might not, but it feels like a scene taken from any Chevy Chase movie..

I get the idea of the movie, i do, but it feels so forced and most of the things that happen feels like its there because it has to. And all this in its inde-movie package.

Its cute and all, but not an amazing movie.

Cerberus 4/10 ... damn to my desire to watch even the homevideo only movies in sci-fi/horror field ... stay away from this, barely interesting story but the rest is more then amateur.

it took me off-and-on almost 24 hours to stomach finishing it, but i finally watched delta farce... yeesh... i very seldom call films 'painful' to watch, but there it is... pretty damn horrible, ill admit i found one or two funny parts, and it was good to see a film taking the piss out of the army (as opposed to all american films overhyping them and making them look invincible and other bs, when the truth lies somewhere between that, and this film...), but over all, gotta give this film 3.5... really not a good film at all.

Shoot 'Em Up 8/10 fun to watch, it's 75 mins of action and gore + 5 mins of story, and they still managed to come up with an ok story line. Too bad that Monica Bellucci is horrible now Sad she's used to be hot Sad

wild hogs. im amazed. i didnt actually hate it. i could have done without the first half of the film which was basically a running gay joke, but i guess because im not american i didnt get a giggle out of gay or something... but for the most part i quite liked it. 5.5/10 definately better than most of the american comedy crap thats come out lately.

30 Days of Night 8/10, excellent cinematography in places, judicious use of gore and a fairly original narrative. The only negative points really were a few cliché scenes and the ending.

Definitely one of the better films I've seen recently.
