after i played abit, i must agree with some of you , that this game isn't that good and the weapon's feels like toys kinda...lost planet feel't mutch better (also looked better from some angles imo). when you shoot this aliance, it's like..dunno like nothing special happends..maybe i am too drunk from the timeshift, but till now it's disapointment.
maybe i will have to play more to discover what's in this game that made it the king of the xbox-360.
p.s thanks for the answers about the aa activaion, i have 8800 but still stick with the xp, so i guess thats why.
thanks.

As no one else seems to be having the Spanish expedience - I'm guessing I'm just a little slow.
I am using the Razor no DVD with the reloaded release...but the game starts in (what i think) is spanish.
I am running via the desktop icon.
Please be gentle...what have i done wrong?
Can i fix without a re-isnsatll?
Many thanks
Speed

found a possible stuttering fix. Not guaranteeing it will work for all of you but read firs post. Updated it. It worked for me, hasn't stuttered at me since.
@ speed, you have to install using the razor release if you want english. Reloaded was nuked for this reason

Are you playing this on xp? Because it didn't work for me on that, on vista on the other hand, I needed to download a Vista update and restart my computer to make it run flawlessly.
Sowhich OS are you playing this on?

just create a profile? it looks like it'll make a live account but seemed to make an offline profile, my net connection was down at the time tho so maybe that helped. this q had been asked and answered a few times in this thread if you read back..
really liking this game, is lovely and fluid and playable, graphics run like silk and look very good on my 7800gt under vista x64 in dx9, no crashes but sucks that people are having this problem, hope we see a patch soon..

I have slowdowns with xp - the game itself runs really well but when it switches between cinamatics and the game it stutters badly. That was on lower settings - cranked up the settings behaves the exact same.
PC: i7-4790k @ 4.4, 32GB @ 2400, Nvidia 1080TI FE, 2 TB Crucial MX500 SSD
Nintendo Switch SX OS Pro / PS4 Pro 5.05 Hen/Mira / PS3 Modded / Wii Modded / 360 Pre-Wave4 mod

their really isn't anything you can do to get any 3rd party lan thing to work unless your lucky.
When the game starts (like some) it ties its use of internet to your main network connection. If you disable it with the hamachi network enabled the game will default to that instead. That is the normal work around. Well the game, and im sure MS did this on purpose, is still blacklisting the use of hamachi somewhere else in the configuration and my buddy can't figure it out.
I just got banned from their forums because they can't handle the fact they fucked up and people are calling them idiots. Cry babies. So much for epic being this wonder pc dev Broken save system so people lose their checkpoints, crashing, stuttering, windows live isn't working for half of the people and hamachi was their only other choice and it's blacklisted, great game but poor representation from these so called devs.

I was sure by now someone would of gotten it to work. I heard that battle lan works, but I tried and unless I am doing something wrong it doesn't appear to work either.
SpykeZ wrote: |
ya but reguardless how good your PC is it'll still stutter.
I've been watching their forums and their acting just like UBIsoft. Game was shipped unfinished and obvious USERS have to help each other hardly any support from the devs or tech support. Threads being locked and deleted and users banned for being pissed off about a shitty product. Epic is now at the bottom of the barrell. Had planned on buying it but fuck them. I'm not that desperate. |
Running Vista X64 I just tried it with 2GB of RAM no stutter at all, 4GB RAM still no stutter.. Make sure you got all the Vista patches that are out for better memory management and what not. Again no stutter full settings, the only thing I do not do is run my resolution at the highest, I run it at 1280 by 1024...
People were satisfied with Lost Planet, which was an awful port, and an obvious one at that.. At least here I can navigate the menus with my mouse, and they did add options to the game, unlike some ports. The game has a totally different feel then the Xbox 360 version did. Its a great port, and if I remember right this game started out on the PC before is a game to show off the UE3 engine. The monsters came straight from that tech demo before gears of war was even heard of. |
1) Theres no way to lan co-op unless it's done in house as I've explained on the last page
2) Lost planet was NOT a shit port. IT ran fine on the systems it was meant to be played on and didn't have lousy controls (minus the mouse, dunno if that got fixed) |
I found a way to co op through the net... If you have a cisco or linksys router that has vpn settings you can enable the router to except and have the other person use the vpn software... Worked like a charm for me!
