Using DT 4.6, YASU 1.4, and the maxi image but the game won't anymore after uninstalling the demo. I reinstalled and repatched the game but still get This program cannot be executed (5024).

EDIT : Gamecopyworld have this mistakenly credited to Fairlight, whereas it's a Vitality release

EDIT 2 : You need the original files in place for the autoupdater to work correctly, tsk tsk.

Horrible game. My girlfriend, a good friend and me played it multiplayer for roughly 8 hours. The amount of problems and bugs with the game is simply annoying.

For example: When changing zones it often happens that not everyone in the zone is visible to other pleyers. They will interact with the zone, you will see their pets but you will not see the character moving around or acting in any other way. It takes several times zoning back and forth until everyone is properly "in". Everytime someone "invisible" to others zones out, the other party members are being ported to the zone entrance.

If someone in the group gets an error message, everyone in the group gets an error message. The multiplayer chat window overlaps with many of the interaction windows for NPCs. If you are trading with someone, you cannot see what he is giving you, because the chatwindow overlaps the area where he puts his items.

The game has a huge memory leak, causing frequent crashes because the memory is exceeded. And the list goes on....

It could probably be a fun game to play, but right now it is in such a horrible buggy state that I wonder how Flagship even dares to offer a subscription.

it is a strange thing. But, not everyone is experiencing these amounts of problems. Me and Yodaine played for several hours together. We DID experience the invisible party memeber bug once... and this was back in the beta... but other than that, we had no crashes or error messages.

One thing, have you tried lowering the texture quality to medium? This seems to help the memory leak bug. It seems to be happening more when textures are st to high.

It is a shame that people are experiencing this stuff though. And I do agree about the interface... as a whole, it could be much much better. And they have stated they are working on all these issues.

i really love the game despite its flaws. i think it is very addictive. i just hope they hold true to their promises and bring the game up to it's potential.

A page back or so I mentioned that a new update for singleplayer was available, previous version was 1.40 and this is version 1.43 - it's not the same changes as the multiplayer game (Patch 0.1 and the Guy Fawkes event) and infact I don't really know what this fixes as there isn't any changelog aside from two smaller fixes but it updated most of the singleplayer related files. Smile

That's one of the larger complaints on the forums together with how badly balanced nightmare and elite difficulty is as the mobs get much harder but the loot isn't that much better and "gold" (palladium) isn't as common.

There's still quite a few people playing in those modes though, there's even a few Nightmare/Elite/Hardcore players.

I also heard that Shulgoth still drops good gear compared to the other bosses but most of the special items I get are usually from rare/legendary mobs with the occasional named creature "mini-boss" dropping something of interest.
(Grouping with more players should also increase drop rate but it does make the game quite challenging due to how the game scales, especially in Nightmare.)
