loved the whole setting of the game but the combat really turns me cold. Looks like utter shite. hopefully it will be mostly story with the minimum of combat.

A lot of people (me included) have traditionally stayed clear of RPG's, let's face it players of RPG's are the nerdiest of the nerds (don't fight it, you know it's true). However, the combat looks fantastic and the interfaces look clean and simple and frankly amazing. I'm sure the story will be great but I hope the dialog can be kept pacey (for want of a better expression), $50 is a bit pricey for a story after all, get you quite a few paperbacks that would.
what I'm trying to say is, the combat will draw me into playing something I would not normally go for, so I'm looking forward to this.

I'm sure eventhough they've shown a lot of combat lately, the game is not just all about combat.
I mean... I'm sure they just don't want to show the character running around on a space station for 10 minutes talking to random people. And I'm sure you'll have to do that a lot in the game.
They also showed mostly combat in the baldur's gate 2 trailers, but still, that doesn't mean that's all the game is about.

Heh, people who think this game is about combat should not bother to play this game. Its Bioware, its story, its what they are good in, and its GOTY.

there's no guarantee that anyone associated with a release group or with the equipment to make a homemade torrent release or something got the game.
maybe only random non-pirate people got the game, so don't get your hopes up too much.
either way it's only 2 weeks to go at most.

hmm so the book sucked, eh? that's a pity.
only videogame related book I ever read was Halo: Fall of Reach and I thought it was awesome.

nothing to do with security, just takes time these days.
games like blacksite, beowulf, pro street, kane & lynch are released the same day or before Assassin's creed and still those are not released.
nothing weird about that anymore, few years ago we saw a release weeks/months before release.
now we are talking days before sometimes even after release.
the scene has changed dramatically simple fact
