i just started playing and is it normal that you re thrown right into the game in that prison without any INTRO-Video?
I m asking because i had that problem with some games before (e.g. Two Worlds) and didnt notice it at first, but found it strange to be thrown into the game like that...

There's nothing Epic about this game but the bugs, it will go down in history as one of the most fucked up releases ever!
Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most!

not evne possible would be my guess, we can't even find where the saves are stored. The only folder that has anything related to it is the checkpoints folder in the install folder but those are like empty, I backed all those up and nothing.

go into play recent chapter or whatever it's called and it'll give you all the checkpoints etc so you can start where you pretty much left off

A funny note: Game crashed all the time with windowblinds unloaded, with it loaded the game works like a charm, is it upside down day today? LOl |
Spoiler: | At the end, I assume that you mean your assumed end of the game, well, you see these crows that he has? Shoot at him when they're gone. |

Just installed this, got the CTD as well, and whats worse no checkpoints...
I'm waiting for a patch (if one ever comes out...) to play this. It's not like there are no other games ATM.

Act 5 is the add-on to the game that the xbox didn't get. So they enable it for those who already played through it and don't want to go through the game again

And? Cracked Steam updates are available as well. Only because it's Windows Live doesn't mean there won't be a seperate update somewhere...

Uninstalled. Saves continued to be removed. Anyway the game was pretty boring and repetitive. Always the same scenario with the same combact.

Pure console gamers really don't seem to know shit about good games.
This and Halo are the praised games of modern console gaming. And when you look at them, they are repetitive, have no real innovation and lack any kind "magic" like many other games to keep you addicted.
Both really aren't bad games, but I really don't see how I could place Halo or GOW in even my "best-50-games-list". There are just so many better games, they are average to say the least.
I am not buying any more of that "consoles have the better games" crap.

I personally don't ever judge pc vs console. They both do what they were designed to do. I've been a console gamer most of my life till I got a real PC to play games on. It just depends on your intelligence level of looking beyond what is that determines if you know shit about video games period. Like all the hype over crysis when it's really nothing more than an optimized tech demo of the new engine.
The only real reason console games are so...linear and boring most of the time is because of it's limitations, mainly it being a gamepad so your limited on menu's and what you can do with that amount of buttons vs. having a keyboard and the fact consoles don't have the memory our pc's have. Like bioshock for instance, was really dumbed down so people on consoles wouldn't have a difficult time navigating and so forth. Given those limitations a lot of people don't think abotu buying a gamepad for their PC's and if they do it's up the developers to support them well enough to make em worth it. Theres plenty of console games I just could really see being on PC unless you had a gamepad, but then would defeat the whole purpose. Sports games mostly, then games like kingdom under fire series, combat games etc.
People in general just need to quit comparing the two.

Another thing i have noticed is that there is no vertical game. I mean all the enemies are on the your same level. This is another thing to make the game playable with a pad.
