Being a long fan of PC RPG games and starting out with MUDs and much later Diablo (not really an rpg but still most know it) Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale etc....I can say that this is what RPGs should be like! The graphics are unbelievable....I still don't believe it's NWN1 engine....it looks better than NWN2 and runs 5x better...
The chick cards are awesome trophies...need I say more...I don't even know if I"ll have time to play Assassin's Creed b/c of this game...Hellgate is nothing compared to this. |
QFT...prob is...to many good games at the mo. When the frack to find the time to relax a bit and sit down and enjoy this  . I guess as the weekend is near, I will spend an hour or 10 to at least get to chapter three  |

Just checked and they removed the whole segment on "Geralt", all the other videos played fine though I didn't sit through any of them.

game is great but shouldve been better with no fixed path walking rubbish. ruins it for me that he cant run up hills or jump over small objects.

I still get mouse problems, the game will work fine for about a hour or so then the mouse stops responding in combat, I have to restart the game, I wish I could fix it.

Man, I will get back to this game in the morn...to entangled in COD4 at the mo
Good thing is I still am only half way through it  . The Mrs is at a seminar ALL DAY tomorrow, so I got at least 6-7 hours to kill
...At least, that what she said she's doing

Well its strange but im starting to get tired of this quite fast. After entering the swamps the game just went from amazing to standard mind numbing action rpg. The quests are just boring follow the map to red circle and kill x amount of enemies and bring back evidence. I had great hopes the the tower side quest bad that mission was a big joke, so easy to find the runes it was almost laughable. Will continue to play this but my heart just isnt in there anymore. Anyone else feeling the same? Amazing how you can just suddenly change your mind completely about a game.

Its staring to dry up with me a bit, not because of the game play but because of the combat system and shitty camera. these 2 things are killing it for me. |

Sorry if this has been brought up and answered already, but whenever I mount the Platin release, my pc freezes up and I have to manually reboot. I cant even start the install. Im using DT Pro 4.10.0218 on XP and tried with the virtual IDE drive and regular scsi drive. Ive found a couple others at different forums with the same problem but never found an answer.

I'm sure it crossed their mind but that would have taken forever and could have ended up being buggy as hell. I'm surprised they were able to do what they did on such an old engine.

I'm almost tempted to reinstall it. Was like my first real PC game (got to pc gaming late)
