Good news the sales from Witcher where SO HIGH (50k copies sold in 2 weeks in Poland) that they are making Witcher 2 , it was confirmed by Tomasz Bagiński - he said we will see the new adventures of Gerald in 18 months

why wouldnt they make a console game? i bet witcher 2 will be console only for a year, then the pc will get a slapped together quickie port... thats pretty much how it works, isnt it?

yeah with any luck something will happen to make everyone in the world hate the 360, so the system dies, and also maybe sony goes bankrupt or everyone who works at sony spontaneously combusts or something fun like that, and they'll be stuck with just us pc gamers, muhahahahahah
well theres always the wii, but i like the wii... so if they put the game on the wii i wouldnt mind so much... i dont have one, but i still think its the coolest console around. its just hard to get angry at a console with such a cute name, and a wicked ass control system...

the RUSSIAN cracked .exe works with my english installed version, finally i get to play
however when Im playing the cut scenes seem to lag but playing in game runs smooth... any fix for this?

better video card and more memory if you don't have enough. Those cut scene are mean |

Beware about too early perforance impressions! If you just started the game the performance maybe OK in chapter 1 and 2 - but in chapter 3 you get access to an area with far higher requirements (due to lots of NPCs walking in the streets). I was reading in other forums that many players were upset about the performance loss there and for some it even ruined the game due to permanent stuttering and even longer loading times.
I arrived in this area myself now and even its not as bad as expected the fps loss is noticible, but I had luck with my 512mb video ram its still well playable.
Turn the view distance down, if necessary...

Very true, the Vizima market district gets very unreasonable in terms of smoothness of transitions, very fast. It maybe the fact that I am running it on Vista and it wasn't tested properly on this OS(not a big surprise, considering what few pennies Atari has left for QA these days) but whatever the reason, I advise ppl to wait for a patch before playing through. Right now I am chapter 3(or right before, forgot) and the game randomly crashes during the exponentially longer loading times. I can't imagine what ppl on lesser machines that don't defrag as often run into. Anyways game is on permanent rest until this gets fixed, as to not ruin the experience.
Hopefully this crashing/load time crap is just related to a memory leak(seems to happen the longer I play) and gets resolved in a patch soon. I am really looking forward to continuing my adventure in the awesome landscape in which the game takes place.

How hard is the game on 'hard' it seemed too easy on medium? I had no problem with bosses and I didn't use potions and other stuff that much, I plan to play again on hard plus all the different choices I will make equals no friends to help me out this time, possibly to much to handle 
A question about the ending:

I agree on medium it is too easy. I was sure it was going to be a bitch on hard, though because of the dog battle. That battle was the only part of the game that kicked my ass. They should tweak the game to make that battle a little tamer and the difficulty ramp up, as opposed to going down the more powerful you get. A minor annoyance still.

ok guys, ive ALMOST finished getting the game
re: original discussion waaaaaaaay back about censorship, can someone refresh me what has been censored in the platin version, and if any way has been found to remove or get around the censorship? - any other information i should know about the game/this release, bearing in mind i havent follow the thread for the past 51 or so pages?

but am i know on 1.1a patch or am i playing under 1.0 ?

Nope, you're still playing the 1.0 version. Using the crack for v1.0 renders the v1.1a patch useless. You will need an updated cracked exe based on v1.1a.
