Maybe you should try NFS: Porsche Unleashed. That was actually good game. Now nfs is just shit and vomit.

It's prolly saying that the reloaded crack is nuked so get the vitality crack, which is on the nfo page :O (And it's release after all the other stuff, so I guess the Vitality one would be the right crack rite? Cool )

I've played the rld version and it pwnd the demo.
I dont know how but the demo wouldnt run without shocking
This version will run without shocking and very high graphics .. Smile

I like it now, The demo sucked.. But the full version owned! Very Happy

Anyone with an unbiased mini-review?
The screenshots from earlier in the thread looked butt-ugly and if the gameplay is worse than the last 4 games - which i happened to like - i dont want to bother with it, so thanx in advance =)

Heh, the last 5 NFS games or so all suffered from dreadfully unrealistic AI.

The AI seemed to do something like this:

are you winning? --> AI starts to drive faster than their cars should be able to do
are you losing? --> AI slows down (except later in the game where they keep racing)

are you winning but the AI's car is out of view? --> AI drives spotlessly, very fast, and can somehow take corners without slowing down (can be seen on the minimap)

On top of that, the AI crashes LOADS when in your view. It's so easy to make AI cars crash but of course, the second they're out of view, they suddenly are able to recover and come flying at you again at twice their normal top speed. Yet despite crashing loads inside your view, they NEVER EVER EVER crash when not in your view.

Now, this is the perfect example of horrible AI and NFS is a mainstream crappy racing game for people who don't know what a real game is about. Arcade or not, an AI that is a real joke and cheats is never fun.

Check Mario Kart 64, the AI used to do the same back then. Even when you had Turbo Boosters in they just drove by at unrealistic hyper-speed. Conclusion: Some racing game AI has not improved since 15 years.
