Well actually, most of you playing games all day or watching TV are mostly job-less drinkers on the dole who have nothing better to do than to moan about some free shit they downloaded!
I tend to moan about a game when i've worked for an hour or two to pay for it! (An exception here)..
I like the concept changes, but I fuckin hate the way the cars behave on long corners, If I wanted a car sim I would have got somthing else. The announcer is so annoying! Do they have anyone at EA that knows how to mix audio and effects? Its an arena, not a stadium!

Quote: | NFS Pro Street DVD9 to 1 DVD5 (tested on reloaded release)
1. Copy Group1.cab from .iso file (about 1.1GB) to a temporary folder. (used UltraISO)
2. Extract Group1.cab to a new folder using any comp. program. (ex: winrar)
3. Re-pack the contents of the new folder using latest WinAce program (2.65i) as a .cab file selecting maximum compression ratio from advanced menu while adding files.
4. The output file new "Group1.cab" should be about 660MB
5. Open the iso file with Ultraiso, delete Group1.cab and replace it with the new one. You can replace a cracked exe to the root directory if you do not want to be bothered to do that after the setup. (you may use the crack inside the reloaded release)
6. save the iso file
7. test it with daemon tools, then burn it or do whatever you like with the iso file. |

Good thing I'm a University student with a full social life. When I say my day is full of playing games, I mean the hours I spend at home when not at the University or out with friends. After moving to another city for Uni on my own, I just find myself with too much time on my hands.
And relax with all the morals. Just like every other topic, someone that has "such a better life" than others will take a moment of their "very precious time" to flame.
--------------------------------------
And anyway, just to get back on topic, I've just had one of the best experiences this game has to offer. I unlocked the Nitrocide invitation-only race day (all Speed Challenges) and put the Zonda to the test. No other car I've tried in ProStreet or any racing game for that matter gave me the feeling Zonda did. That car is pure sex. The power, the sound, the speed... It's simply amazing, just driving it. It's hardly controllable on the slightest of corners with 6th (350-402 KM/h after tuning) but that's to be expected.
I do most of my "Top Speed" races with it. I just wait 5 seconds for others to disappear on the horizon so that I won't come accross them (the Zonda is a bitch to repair when it comes to money, requires almost 170,000), and put pedal to the metal when the "Next Checkpoint: 500m" appears while doing between 250-300KM/h on any other part of the race. On the speed challenges however I prefer to just use my Skyline and slipstream to get the maximum out of it. On aggressive races such as "Speed Challenge" you wouldn't put such an expensive baby as the Zonda between other cars. Unless you had 20 or 30 repair markers to spare.
Here's my current list of Career Cars:
Grip: Evo X
Drift: 911 GT2, RX8
Drag: Charger S/T (~900BHP)
Speed: Zonda, Skyline

I must say, this NFS is tough IMO. Maybe i just suck, but man it is a completely different driving style. Please don't call me a whiner as i liked the last few nfs games. I enjoyed underground and most wanted quite a bit. I actually purchased both at full price. This one is a bit too much like forza or Gran Turismo for me. I miss my Arcade Racer with cops a open city and more DRUM AND BASS!
Leftos -- have at me! hehehehe
--------------------
Edit
I think the biggest problem with the Need For Speed Series is that every couple games they totally change the damn formula! Most people like the old style, Hot Pursuit, Porsche Unleashed, I liked the newer style: U1, U2, MW, Carbon. Well not really Carbon but still. Once again they have made a completely different game under the same franchise name.

The solution is slipstreaming. They're slipstreaming off each other at many straights so do the same.

Punkbuster is only active during multiplayer gaming and most trainers don't work online either.
(Can still work ofcourse but it might cause problems, cheating online isn't really recommended but it's up to you how you choose to use trainers or similar utilities.)
EDIT: Should only be active during multiplayer/online gaming as far as I know, perhaps this game uses it as a general protection against hacks and such?
