Sad to say that I pity you, I could not even stand this torment of a game through mission 1, I pressed Alt-F4 cause I couldn't stand the crappiness.

plays like the older console Fps , this one remembers me another great game "Shadow Ops: Red Mercury" but with new crispy graphics and this game is FUN FUN FUN |

It amazing to see a game that the majority hates so much going on 12 pages of posts.
lets all keep in mind, its free. if you dont like it dont play. personally for free its just fine as is COD4, Timeshift, Crysis, Blacksite, Fear, Gears of War...

Maybe some people would have bought it if it had been any good, have you thought of that? I bought both SOF1&2 and I loved both - this game is a true dissapointment, so we got every damn reason to be pissed off, free or not.
Besides, if we don't raise our voices, the demented publishers won't get why their crappy game didn't sell and will blame it on something else.
It's like Lucas Arts "Oh, the last Monkey Island didn't sell too well! People must no longer like adventure games!" while a game like Longest Journey sold loads - no no, the reason it didn't sell much was because it was crap. And the reason this game won't sell is not because people don't want another SoF game with gore, but because it's CRAP.

Ok after reading how horrible this game is i of course just had to try it.
I don't think it is much worse then many other low budget/rushed shooters, i also had no mouse or mouse lag problems.
The so called 'gore' was utter crap though compared to the original SOF1, i mean i single shot and the arm falls off? and it always looks the same too.. you hit the arm and it falls of looking exactly the same every time, same for foot, head etc.. and there is no variation and no real response and it end's up just looking feeling utterly fake & stupid...
In short, the original gore system was/is WAY better, and that now like 7 years old?
Oh well, maybe some other game will be able to do it right, i never seen a game that such an 'interesting' gore system as sof1... sof2 didn't, from the gore perspective it was just another shooter... sof1 was awesome.. you could see the guts hanging out when you shot someone in the stomach with a shotgun, you could see parts of the brain spattered around and part of the head being blown away... in this game it's always everything.. you hit someone in the neck and the head is gone... you hit the ear and the head is gone etc.. STUPID and NO variation WHATSOEVER... now in the original sof1 the bullets also traveled through the body.. so you could for example shoot through the head into the arm and do damage to both so on.. oh well.. good times with sof1... 
considering this month though it's not like there is a lack of better games to play =)

Just finished the game after a few more hours of playing, the last missions were very difficult because of close combat and the shotgun is extremely overpowered (at least in the hands of an enemy).
The story is very lame, you could barely call it a story, but the story didn't even end and the credits just start rolling. Guess they'll develop a sequel in 4-5 months and cash in another 50$.

oddly I'm enjoying it. I'm playing Mass Effect, COD4, Assasins Creed, Crysis, which are all incredible games... but somehow the simple relentless stupidity of this game and straight back to basics run and gun really appeals.
Graphics are ok, quite atmospheric with plenty of detail and interest in places, I like the way soldiers rush towards you, although seeing them spawn is a little lame. If this were £15.00 and not a SOF franchise, I'd be dead impressed.
As an SOF title it bears little resemblance to the innovation of the first game expertly crafted by Raven.
