Think there is a vista patch to fix that, it happens in a lot of new games I believe.
Also my clone finished downloading and just finished 2 songs that crash every time with the crack, so it appears the crack was the problem. I haven't seen anyone else say it crashes for them, but I have seen a lot of people say that the game doesnt start with it. They are p2p users though so maybe they are just stupid.
Edit: ah well forget all that it's crashing again now. God damnit.

fuck this game is good...i never had a xbox, so this is the first time i play guitar hero, and i have to say, it sucks you in...the songs are quite good too...i don't have a gh guitar, so i have to play it with kb and mouse...its quite easy on "easy" and "medium" levels, but "hard and "extreme" are absolutely hard to master, because the five button combos are really hard to get on the keyboard...i could easily play all of these songs on a real guitar (well except dragonforce, but i hopefully get there sometime in the future  ), but gh is a real challenge at the moment...still, it's an awesome rock game, and hope that they will release more of these for the pc (and with more heavy metal songs...miss Manowar  )

Im on XP not Vista (im not that dumb) but i fixed it.
The game chokes bad randomly in songs making me miss all the notes. Anyway i went from a 42" to a 19" and i hate that...unless theres an easy way to make custom songs for it, i'll stick to the 360 version

Man I just sat and played this for 10 hours straight. This game is addictive. I am glad this came out for the pc. I am using the XBOX controller for windows and its a blast. Finally got the controls down and kicking ass. Love the music. Glad to see Metallica - One as one of the songs play. Great Game. Gonna defentially buy it for the guitar.

GH2 guitar work 100% but for some reason, i suck on PC while i rock on the X360. Its probably caused by the piss poor performance im getting with this game on my PC

People says that the HATRED release of GH3's crack doesn't work.Anybody confirm me this?..

I tryed the HATRED release, and it isnt working like it should. It looks like the game isnt responding on my keybord, also cant get the x360 controller to work.

Argh..i tried a release before this one with the folder "GHIIIPC" on mininova and after usin' Daemon tools 4.06 n Yasu and the game runs FLAWLESS,but it was in english...some people says it's in spanish thou <<...
Any1 else got Tortelli's problem with Hatred release?..or i'm high? ^^;

It works fine. So does keyboard support too.

I am playing this game with the Clone version. All I did was burn it with the latest Alcohol 120% with RMPS on and in the latest deamon Tools I have all the Emulations options on and it works great!! The DVD is in my drive though. As it does check it. I also have no probs in game. No slow downs or anything.
I do have.....
3Ghz E6850 Dual Core
2Ghz of Ram
EVGA Geforce 8800GTX Superclocked
WinXP Pro SP2
