If ya havent seen it already: New firmware for samsung's:
idk if its worth the trouble updating ... no probs here so far and the new "features" arent a huge motivation for me to tear my xbox apart again Very Happy

did you already update? any huge differences?

Defeats all current Xbox Live detection attempts.

Extra notes.

Note: In regards to the 'More Secure Xbox Live' feature, it is just further cleanup of the DMI code on failed boot (non-stealth games), plus a quicker lockdown of video partition when requested to reset to the video partition. "PTP" stands for Parallel Track Path DVD's. It is a rare format (approx. 1 out of 50) that is used. Previously they would not play under iXtreme versions.

no you cant do that. this version (and the rev2) just added faster detection of non stealth games -> no boot

Some people are to cheap to reburn Razz

And of course its not worth it if they don't care about live. If they play (and pay) for live its worth reburning imo. Got like 6 burned games I can't use now... not bothering to reburn either, to many new fucking games to burn Razz
