Why is so hard to come up with good gifts? Sad
I have four family members - mom, dad and a younger sister and brother (18 and 14).

Come on, some good tips people! And be serious, please.

guess you could get your 18year old brother one of those "lagers from around the world" gift boxes or something like that?

i guess it depends on what your mum and dad are like as to what you can get them so you will have to figure that out on your own Razz , ive no idea what you get a 14 year old girl

actually if your mums as hard working as mine then maybe you could get your mum a foot spa? or maybe you could get her something for the bath from lush like some bath bombs maybe? my wife loves them http://www.lush.se/ bubble bars are pretty good to

Gifts are difficult, This year I have very little to buy.

Your Mother, she should get something sentimental, try a digital picture frame and load up
some family portraits on it.

Father, Practical is the key get something you know he will use.

Sister and Brother, board games and the like should be the type of gift.

I think for your brother 2 movie tickets. One for him and a friend. Give them money to buy a large popcorn to share and tell them to smuggle in 2 cans of Coke to drink. If that is too much money then take him to a movie you both want to see. Suggle in the popcorn too. Their pop corn is no good for you anyway. Chems, yellow dye and fat.

Don't get your mom something for the house unless she is a housey housey mom. My mom is really practical but she likes this really expensive face cream that claims to reverse ageing. Elizabeth Arden. I buy it for it every couple of years. Women always like those soaps from The Body Shop. Satsuma Smile She might like a piece of jewelry, What have you seen her wear? Does she have a hobby? Buy her a cross stitch kit or something. There is always chocolate. If you had a Wii you could buy her the tennis game. She could use it have fun while getting some exersice.

Ohh I know. Take some pictures of her, or find some and do your thing. Sign it. Put it in a nice frame. Very Happy It could also be any type of picture you really like. That way it could be for the both of them.

Your dad I don't know. Porn perhaps? No?

Your sister I would buy a gift card. She prob wants the money. For little money you could burn her a music cd or a movie. I really like big perms choice of Planet Earth. Board games are good too. I always liked Cranium.

@syco
Once in a blue moon I find myself watching Oprah. She has done a lot of good with her money. I wouldn't want the box set tho. Re-gift ftw.

Its the 'holier than thou' attitude she projects you know what im saying? Like yes, she grew up in poverty, yes she has an amazing success story....but what entitles her to give people advice on how to live a normal life? its not like she does.

If she was giving advice on how to turn yourself into a billionaire with an empire, i'd listen, cuz she knows. But giving people advice on shit she doesnt deal with is just....i dunno, doesnt sit well
Like me telling someone how to play cricket....I havent the foggiest idea

You hear at her boarding school for girls in Africa? They're getting beatin and raped by the staff and all that shit. Oprah's in hot water.

Define a normal life? she has experienced life on both sides of the fence, she has a vantage point that we are unable to see. I am not so sure it's a holier than thou attitude although I can understand people viewing it as such.

You don't have to be an addict to know it's not a good life style, you do not have to be a millionaire to know that it's easier to manage money when you have ample amounts, you do not need to be a rapist to know that it is wrong to do such things. Many sports coaches never played professionally, yet they are great coaches, based on your statement they shouldn't be able to perform.

I am not sure what is happening with her boarding school, however I can say that providing the staff have done their due diligence she cannot directly blamed, unless she does nothing to rectify the situation.

it was not fair.

I think asking others for opinions is better than browsing, especially for someone who doesn't
seem to have an idea of what to get them.

Alright, since im still clueless what to get for them, heres some info on them:

Mom owns and runs two toystores. Likes horses and cowboy/western-stuff. Has five horses. Actually, loves animals in general. Likes chocolate. Works too much Razz

Dad is a mechanic, and also manages the store were he works (he sells ATVs, snowmobiles, lawnmowers, motorcycles etc etc). Likes old american cars. Has owned many ones. Loves his ´74 Corvette Stingray, wich he more or less rebuilt from the ground up. Cant buy him tools or similar, he already has the stuff he needs.

Brother is mostly into music, he plays drums. Also hes practicing bass and electric guitar atm. He already has all those instruments. Likes sports too.

Sister is mostly into lifestyle i guess. Clothes, style, music and so on. I think its gonna be real hard to figure something out for her..
