yup i believe this to be correct.
thats why some movies have worked, but when it comes to games they just suck...with the exception of bf:vietnam since it only contains two human sides pretty much.

I don't know why some of you guys give this such a bad mark? Have you actually played it? It's not bad... graphics are PS2 quality, but apart from that the game itself is quite good - and there haven't been many FPS lately since Riddick. I played for about 2 hours and quite enjoyed it, whereas all the other Vietnam games are sitting in the unwanted and not worth playing pile.

co-op is possible both on the same machine and system link.. and it ROCKS

Couldn't get COOP work on System Link. Had Deathmatch, a few other things, Mission Objectives and Search & Destroy.
On all of these it says you need NVA players (tried through system link) and by using Cooperative on the main menu you can't get others to connect.
So Dirtpaw - please explain how you play coop in this mission.

well i tried it out for a couple of hours now. and what can i say? wow this is really bad. i dont know what is in the pc demo but sp in the first 2-3 hours is totally crap. i got to the bridge/boat level btw. stupid enemies, boring missions, bad guns, bad aiming aka no feeling (this might better on pc), really really stupid plot, not even musicscore is good (which 2015 usually nail down really good), bad interface, boring characters and so on. i dont know what potential you saw, but its not anywhere to be seen. at least not this far into the game, and im not sure im willing to go thru the whole game to find it out.
gfx wise i dont know what they have done with the unreal engine? only thing looking good is the water. wargames using q3 engine looks better imho. its pretty much just long hallways in the jungle. even fable is more free. its going to fun to see unreal championship 2 when it comes out, to compare and see how its suposed to be done.
mohaa and cod is better cause they are better.  probably because the people making mohaa good went on and made cod instead of this crap. thats why those games are better.
this game feels like a low-price title kind of (valuesoft), and thats pretty sad, since ive been following the progress for a long time. it just lacks quality.
if i had to rate it i would give it a 5. its playible, but not much more. maybe mp can make it last for a day or two.

Pallebrum play it for yourself and see if you like it. Don't rely on what someone else really says. It's been getting mixed reviews all around. Some love it some hate it. I've only played the demo but I thought the demo was good and didn't feel like a "Valuesoft" game at all. A lot of you guys here are picky.

..just feels like lowprice title. ..and the game is so boooooooring, stiff and ugly.
Doesn´t meet the standars of gaming in 2004.
Play COD instead..

i like it, quiet alot better than previous nam games on xbox like shellshock,vietcong purple haze & conflict vietnam.
controls are alot better and aiming is miles better.

Well seeing as the topic includes [xbox] it seems from this people have been posting their views of the PC version ... that is why I could not understand why people thought the aiming was bad!! Its just your usual two analog stick aiming and zoom with left trigger, in fact I thought the aiming was good compared to games like Wolfenstein on xbox.
Maybe the game is bad on PC, but you shouldnt influence peoples decision by posting reviews for a different platform. Try the game. Play it. I really liked it. And I hated Medal Of Honour btw. Maybe the game was designed for xbox not pc.

I rented the full game and found it ok. It's not that bad but not that great. After a while it starts to wear off.
