I even update my graphic drivers, installed the direct X version from the installation and still nothing. In the main menu there is only the background without any text

There is supposed to be a release supposed to work without a crack, emudvd something haven't tried this one yet. Maybe it works or as I said the bug comes from the game itself.

dude just look at the pics posted from the game (in one of my posts)
and it has been allready confirmed on sites that the crack should be nuked because the German clone works fine and doesn't have this error vanishing logs and with the escort quest (when the second ship will not move)

oh, i got that.. i didnt need to read it though lol
its not that bad of an issue, just read what the guy says, when you hve more than 1 log its no longer that big of a deal

but the escort quests are a issue , is like with the RELOADED crack for "Death To Spies" that disabled the blood and gore but with the clone this game had the blood/gore back again .

i completed 2-3 escort missions with no issues, iirc 2, new orleans and havana

Hi,
Back after my little experiment with a clone version. Same problem, during my first escort mission the ship remains glued to the New Orleans port (port of origin) Well she is able to move laterally, along the coast line (for a short distance) but she is unable to leave the shore and so get to destination.
It could well be a bug of the game itself. Like a random bug, only some people get it under unclear circumstances. Huum suppose it's bad luck.

Hey, found this on a forum about the game:
The fact that on some PCs you can't see the ingame menus and texts. That is due to ffdshow from k-lite codec pack. So if you can't see the menus, just uninstall the ffdshow.
It's not a crack problem, but a conflict with the ffdshow.
This does not help me but hope it helps others. Do you know of any other forums covering this game?
