Who's whining, I started by saying I don't like that shitty 360 pad. I haven't even installed the game yet. And what was the "pwnd" pic for ?
Can someone at least tell me if it supports Logitech Rumblepad 2 ?

i have had so many problems getting pads to work properly recently, esp under vista, they seem to work ok but nearly every recent game ive tried doesnt have usable sensitivity settings for my thrustmaster , logitech or saitek pads. My xbox1 pad and my 360 pad work perfectly in every game i have at the moment, so does my ps2 pad but i have always prefered the xbox pads to the sony's, the analogue sticks are so much better esp in driving games.
If you like the xbox1 or 360 pads on the consoles get them for your pc you wont regret it. If you love the ps pads then go with them if you must. If you cant stand either then get logitech... forget the rest they are just a pain in the neck...
Thats my humble opinion
intel i7 3770k @4.4, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, 16GB Corsiar Vengance 1600 ram, ATI 5850 BE, Antec 1 Case, Antec 1 550W PSU, emu0404, 120gb agility3 ssd OS, 2x60gbvertex2raid0 Games, 3 TB total sata2 Data. win7 x64.

trust (crap), saitek ( doesn't work with all games properly) and logitech which is dominating the market, maybe there is couple more like xfx and all that shit that no one cares about
wireless Logitech costs 35-40 euro
wireless 360 controller costs 40 with receiver (wired costs 30 same as wired logitech), so what exactly is overpriced? and u can use it with console
i understand u have particular hate against consoles maybe coz they dominating game market atm, but that doesn't change the fact that your hate is blind |
Y there are thousands of gamepads available. I dont know where you live but you should check youre local store. Im sorry that you dont share my opinion but i find x360 POS. If you like it thats fine but i dont. For me ultimate gamepad is one from sony. Thats why i bought logitech rumble pad 2. It is overpriced because my gamepad costs 25 euros and its pure quality. Oh and btw you should know that wireless = lagg. |
You seem to be missing the point with this specific game, IT IS A CROSS PLATFORM RELEASE. Meaning it includes 360 AND PC. Do I need to go further? I'm not gonna specificy the demographic, it should be pretty obvious.
You hate the 360 that's wonderful, awesome, spectacular. Now wake up and realize just because YOU hate it does not mean the millions of people with it in their household do not readily have controllers available. Notice TONS of people in the gears of war thread ALREADY played the game on 360 BEFORE it got ported to PC. I'm not arguing PC vs Console nonsense, I could give a fuck less about either - no loyalties unlike some people here.
Give it up, this games not that great and you know better then anyone it was a concept given birth to on the consoles and again given the cold shoulder on PC. That's it.

Lol, yes, but it is supposed to be a PC release. Don't defend the crappy developers. I thought we were all on the same side, looks like we're not. Console gamers are fapping away every time PC gamers get fucked over a stupid crappy port.
Yes, and to give Eliz a hard-on, this crap doesn't recognize my Rumblepad 2 and the windows live shit crashes in the background. Uninstalled and deleted. Happy ?

Yeah we are different sides, only in the sense that you are biased toward consoles. It's like the new born who steals all the attention away from the older brother - that's what you sound like. Yeah us PC gamers get the shaft here and there but it's no reason to act like a cry baby whiner, Consoles serve their purpose and bring their own entertainment and pleasure.
If you got a problem with consoles then just don't play the multi platform games like this, done deal. Stick with the PC exclusives which in time will be 0. You are a consumer not a buisness and their intention is money, yes they are suppose to cater but if I was in their shoes I'd be doing the same shit - reaching as big an audience as possible whether it's half assed or not.

Wow you are smart. But here is the thing. There are more people in the world with PS2 controllers then with X360. And there is even more PC users with gamepads that are neither PS2 or X360. These are facts. So youre point is what? Other fact is that 99% of games on PC use Direct X. You do know what DX is? Ok so one mayor part of DX is DX input. Here you go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DirectInput . You see all games that use DX use DX input. Thats why most gamepads if not all work on PC. Thats the reason why gamepads and wheels work in NFS which is another port from x360. Again youre point is what? One thing more. Learn to read. Did i mention anywhere in my post anything agains consoles? No i didnt. Next time if you want to say something dont make things up.

How do you switch to gamepad, or how do you even tell if the game recognizes your pad? I go into the controller menu and I can't tell how you'd even switch to gamepad.
Also, how do you make it widescreen? It doesn't matter if I check the "widescreen" box in the config or not, it still looks like 4:3 stretched to fit my screen.

guess you have ac97 integrated audiocard then disable hardware mixing in the sound config
seems this beeatch doesnt like integrated audio at all
also you can play wit sound acceleration settings in dxdiag try to put down the slider a notch or two
