@Mortibus- yeah- it might look a bit messy and dusty but hey... it's just a small room in a living community for students so i had to mount lots of shelves to put my stuff in. I'm so glad that the Samy can handle fullhd via vga and also dvi/hdmi.... I'm afraid my presantation display ~40lcd LG is going to be obsolete....hm
Do you also use your LCD as a monitor replacement?

No they don't, that's just what the LCD manufacturers want you to believe...
PLasma uses indeed alot more energie when showing bright white but the dzrker the scenes the lower the power consumption will be.
LCD however uses a constant power consumption that will be close to the average consumption of a plasma when watching a movie

why not straigt from VGA to VGA, that's how I connected my 50' plasma and PQ looks great

42 " inch LG LCD HDTV 1080p
PS3 HDMI hooked up
1st PC in sig(KVM Switch and HDMI to 42" LG)
2nd PC 2.2ghz, 8600GT 256, 17 inch monitor( On KVM Switch)
