First and as always, min requirements, if you don't meet them don't ask why you can't run it.

Minimum Requirements:
* CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
* RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card (generic): NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better


Recommended Requirements:
* CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended
* RAM: 1GB for XP; 2GB for Vista is recommended
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better

Installed and copied over the iw3sp.exe, when I launch Single Player it crashes (or first asks to start in Safe Mode, which doesn't work). Multi-Player loads fine and seems to work (I want to try single player first).

Any ideas? Running Vista Ultimate x32 on a AMD Athlon64 3200 1GB RAM, I meet the Minimum requirements for the game. Renaming that mssmp3.asi didn't help.

video card? also, MP goes straight into the menu while SP plays intro videos first so that is the difference between them. try starting a MP game and see if it works first.

i downloaded the 1.3 patch and installed it. the game won't update to 1.3. When i try to redo the patch, it says it's already patched to 1.3 but the verison in-game says 1.0. What am i doing wrong?
