As far as I know, SC doesn't check if multiple people use the same CD-Key. At least that was back when it was new. We played with at least 3 people on one CD-Key at the same time.
So you might just need a legit one from a friend

For online play it does check for key though, singleplayer it does not.
Some stores in NL here sell the SC+BW bundle, you have to be in luck if they still got it.

I do recall my friend and I playing on bnet with the same cd key once, I think they fixed it later though...
from my more recent experience, bnet kicks off the player using a CDkey if another player signs on with the same one.
I think you can buy the game direct from Blizzard (from the shop).. You can also use old cdkeys to activate a digital download from the blizzard shop..

If you're going travelling without internet access, you could also try out Armageddon Empires, Age of Wonders series and JA2 1.13, they're my personal "travel companions"
I hope that's true and that they remake the whole game, MP & all with the exact same mechanics as StarCraft + BroodWar. If they do it just to cash some money following the remastering trend I'll be more than disappointed.
After all, for the campaigns we have the free StarCraft: Mass Recall, and it's more than awesome.
