Well colour me banned as well.
Just to add credence to how Microsoft detect the modded console.
I have xtreme 1.2, have never had a backup game in console whilst connected to live. Despite this they got me. Not such a big deal as I never went on line anyway just narked that I cannot update my achievements anymore.
At least I got the DIVX update before they banned me!!

It's bad news that alot of people have been banned recently. It seems alot of the recent scene releases may have been bad.
It's best to do a full check with mulleter to ensure the data is okay and use the latest firmware.

I'm still convinced that the early speculation where the correct ones...
I really don't trust tools like dvd mulleter anymore, I've been playing for a while "warez" copies online and am still not banned. I believe the trick is mod your console straight out the box and don't upgrade your firmware after that. I now only trust backups I've made myself, never allow dvd muelleter or anu other program to alter my images.
However, I think the bannigs did reach their goal, I now buy all games I play, escpecially the ones I want to go online with (even if they cost 65 ero in the shop :-s)
This said I think it is important to understand you don't have any right to complain when your box gets banned, and if it gets banned and you only play warez release you're still sheap off if you just buy a new 360 (10 games at 50/euro a piece = 500 euro, new 360 around 300 max).
Never tought I was going to say this but, really support the game developers and buy the game, It's only a percentage off the cost when going to a restaurant and it gives you so much longer pleasure!

is there a way to not be connected online when u are signed in on "your games" beside disable the cable from the console..?? seems like it logins by default when i start the 360 up..

lol finally banned here too. Gonna try before I buy on xbox and purchase for ps3. Not gonna waste with fixing these consoles anymore.

You gotta be out of your mind to try and replace the keyvault. This is what the process looks like:
And if the new keyvault from the unbanned console, gets banned on the modded console, both consoles will be banned. Requiring you to get a 3rd keyvault from a 3rd console that is unbanned...

Yup I'm banned now after 2 years, seems ms has put something in the new dash update! NEVER played games online all I did was download xboxlive arcade games and videos.
I like bum.

Mmmm my theory seems to getting stronger, still not banned, been playing COD4 online for 4 hours today, no probs what so ever 
fingers crossed, maybe I'm just plain lucky... anyone from Belgium or Netherlands banned yet?
