imagine how amused ID be though if thats all it was... knowing duke fans are pissed would only make me laugh even harder  dont get me wrong, i hope this shows real in-game footage.. but if its a really great trailer or a whole load of nothing... im good either way it goes

Well this game will suck balls, I'll bet all my money that it will turn out like this: outdated graphics, short game (8 h), mediocre gameplay, not too much bugs but a few major ones, and I am being optimistic it's always the same with these games that go on a rollercoaster ride and change staff working on the game then they start all over because the new guys didn't like the old ideas, this game will be a mess and I will come back with this quote when the game is finally out.

and i bet all my money youd never pay up if the game was actually good... im not saying it will be, but just because the things been in development hell since the dawn of time, doesnt mean it'll be a disaster when its released... like someone else said, look at prey.. or were you too young to remember when that game was first announced, and the same dnf crap happened there as well...
fuck... way back when, kmfdm were to do the soundtrack for prey... oh fuck that would have been one of the greatest game soundtracks ever... woulda been so fucking sweet, such a pity the game got put on hold at the time... RROOAARRRrrr... oh well...

I somehow can't imagine a modern duke nukem game.
clearly they can't just copy the old game and make it prettier, but if they change the formula to make the whole game more modern, will it feel like duke nukem? damn! I have no idea.

It will suck donkey balls I'm telling you, suck, suck, suck, suck, the duke's time is long gone and this is not the time he should be coming back. My advice is wait another 35 years when the trend comes back, shouldn't be a problem for them they have just enough time to polish it.
I just hope they didn't spend too much money on development, caus' if they did bankruptcy is the only future I see for 3drealms, that and getting bought of by EA and I don't know what's worse.

the fact they are releasing a picture of an unfinished model in a world where each screenshot these days is vetted and fretted over with a fine comb by PR it says alot. And its fucking awful because its bordering cartoony with the muscles.

Heh, don't deny it, we're all a bit excited. I didn't give shit for Duke until last month when it actually started to appear that they are doing something. Now it looks like something is moving down there.
It's probably at least a year away, but it is coming back, and with lousy competition in genre it can hardly go wrong.
