Ok,i need important advice NOW...no hurries but i wanna get this doubt shit out of my head..
I went here http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
(for those who can't get into the calculator, use the lite version when said..)
I've got this Rig:
PSU SevenTeam 550W +12V1 18A +12V2 18A = 36A total? (IMPORTANT...)
ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi AP Mother Board
Intel Core2Duo E6600 @ 2,4Ghz NO OC + Thermaltake BigTyph 12VX Fan
3GB DDR2 667Mhz
ASUS EN7900GT + ZALMAN VF900 (GPU's DEFECTIVE...reason of this topic)
SATA 2 HDD 7200RPM (i think i remember) SeaGate
1 DVD+R +RW writer thingy...
1 8cm Back Fan
5 Used USB Ports (from 6-7-8,dun wanna check now)
With this setup i've got 309W in total at the calculator...
If i put the precious 8800GT in it it says..351W
Now here are the questions..
1.This guy at http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40839 says that his LG Monitor (check last posts) wasn't compatible with the damned 8800GT...So i was lookin' to a new monitor and found a beautiful SAMSUNG 206BW of 20" with DVI + Cables, also consumes 55W...In a magazine it says it's the best damn choice thx 2 quality/price (239€ offer)..is it good?..
2.Will my PSU mentioned before (SevenTeam 550W with 2 +12V 18A each (36A total) will be good enough for the 8800GT and the monitor?
3.The hard question...POINT OF VIEW,ASUS or XFX card?...i dun care about the "COMPANY OF HEROES" game coz i bet it...sucks..thou i dun care like i said..The thing thou is the good prices...POV=234€,XFX=227,ASUS...???€...(must check ASUS)..Wich one can suit me good?
4.Thou this is not a question but if askin' if the ZALMAN VF1000 + separate blue heatsinks will be good enough for the card?..it's the only good thing we have here...
PLEASE,need the help!!

2. YES the PSU is enough!
3. The ONLY real difference between the cards is what comes bundled with it. Some brands offerfactory OC´d versions, but if you know a little about computers, you wont fins it hard to do this yourself. And yes, you can OC quite a bit with the stock cooler.
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

So just buy the cheapest GT you can find.
Samsungs are good, i´d say go for it.

1. Try first before changing of monitor, there is no reason for it to not work. Dhaos must have been unlucky.
2. Yep it is enuff, and the LCD isn't powered by your PC PSU.
3. Only look for the price and warranty. Asus will be three years, POV and XFX will be one year.
4. Yes it should be good enough if both can fit together on your card.
