Diablo 2, Serious Sam. Doesn't get any better.
Except if the two met drunk one night, hooked up and got a love-child. And not a crippled one like Hellgate in it's current state.

can you co-op with SWAT and cracked or must be original game?
can someone list good games that work LAN whether co-op or not that work with hamachi or otherwise? fuck buying games.

Yes, it has a lot of cracked servers. However, the game must be dirt cheap by now, and so are you if you don't buy it  |

Rainbow Six: Vegas is pretty awesome.
You should also check out Skulltag (In my Sig). Its a multiplayer source port of Doom played over the internet & LAN. Games can have up to 32 players. Check it out, its pretty fun.

HL2 has a co-op mod as well, Synergy. Can play through the whole SP campaign now.
